Agree with the above. Inventory management, shenguin still being alive, weapons degradation and QTE's are all complete bullshit.

Has unnatural fiddling around inside Amigas actually been ruled out as the source of the infection?

Jumperchat - thanks guys. You're right, it is pretty sweet. Considering I only buy clothes every couple of years on average, I am quite chuffed with it.
As for the techno-babble... the 68030 is supplied in versions with and without an MMU. No version is available with an FPU built-in, but on most cards you can add a 68882 FPU alongside if required.

Sat afternoon in the kitchen making dinner whilst listening to Giles Peterson. I may have been here before. Cottage pie and broccoli.
Couple of games of cod:br earlier. Made my banner the Saltire so folk know I'm a proper cunt of a cod player. It's that or a 1690 reference or the word Bhoy in your tag.

Well, that was a waste of time... I was ready for the great switch off at 11; all my kit turned off... and I waited, and I waited until 1... "Oh, sorry, my little Dicky* has got a cough and a runny nose, so we're going to self-isolate so I've been running around trying to get enough stuff for seven days..." The guy is a good electrician, but there are so many idiotic things in that ... If his kid has c-19 (no temperature = much less likely) then running around all over town in multiple shops is going to help spread it; if Dicky hasn't, then joining the Gadarene swine will ensure Dicky is going to be feeling a little dicky a lot sooner than puberty. *How I wish he'd said Dick My most hated game features? Civ IV's charming habit of every 4th turn (the one before the 4 turn AutoSave) of ignoring the battle odds and on anything less than a 100% chance destroying your carefully nurtured stack of 7-10th level units. Imbecilic. The second one is the cheaty AIs in Neptune's Pride (but that's another post in itself). 2k post? Who's going to touch me? I thought not. Anyway, to celebrate and give you a timesink for PC, if you're a current 'boxer and PM me your email address (substitute AT for @ and DOT for . - and g for gmail.com) and I will gift you AoW3 and it's 2 DLC. I'll also package up my Mods which greatly extend the types of units and stuff. You will need to sign up to both GoG and Paradox to get all the features, but it's a damned sight lighter on memory and disk space than Steam. Above all it's rock solid stable. Whilst I read and listen to how hard it is to be in your home alone for 14 days, having had only ca. 4.5 hrs. of contact week after week for the last 5 years, I sneer at that. 5 or more years is enough to make you nuts (take Ozymandias Kane ** as an example) - that I am not is that I get on with stuff. Feeling sorry for yourself is a dangerous thing - just don't give yourself permission to do that or to despair of the future. You have enough shit to deal with today without choosing to borrow tomorrow's to wallow in. It's likely I will get tagged and bagged, but I choose to enjoy the ride as best I can! ** No offence

Very generous of Chumbles , having checked I bought this a year ago and have played 0 minutes. <edit>This is not reflection on the game only the hoarding of a backlog.

I rather thought that anyone into TBS games with a PC might have it and the 2 DLCs, so not that generous! But the mod stack is available and it's stable with the trio... That's 1800+ hours stable with GoG...

5 or more years is enough to make you nuts (take Ozymandias Kane ** as an example) That's a shame I was hoping for a bit of ribbing, looks like I will have to find an alternative form of debasement/Kane shaming this weekend! In truth it's more like 25+ years for a path to insanity, (life lived etc) Peace

I've just watched your sweet content (didn't view it before, I just made the assumption that a tasty watch & sweater would feature). How about a fake moustache next time? Y'know, really get the vibe going? Preferably to the Shaft theme 'choon. 'Hi, I'm Amipal, I'm a fixin' machine to all the Amigas...'. (background singers) 'Ami-Pal..' 'Damn right'.

Hello, denizens of the box. Games; of course not. TV: 4 episodes of The Trip to Greece; detectorists S3: Ep 1-3 OTTM: It's gonna be a long haul. And some of us ain't gonna make it. But what the fuck, let's party. Never mind bog rolls, hand sanitizers, soap, pasta/rice, or (god forbid) quinoa or couscous (seriously) as long as the gin supplies hold up (together with tonic, and lemons/limes obviously) I'll be fine...

Chumbles is 69; with underlying medical problems. I'm 65 with an unhealthy lifestyle (unless excessive alcohol consumption is a barrier to the coronavirus in which case I should be okay). I think the issue will be with 'boxers' significant others. My daughters have a friend (in her twenties) with serious medical issues. Her parents have isolated her to the extent that she has packed in her job and been confined her to home (they are quite well off). My daughters are round visiting her tonight, but she has effectively been isolated for over a week so far, with no end date in sight.

The weird thing is watching what's happening in mainland Europe and knowing that we'll be doing the same thing in a week or so's time.
Last week's daily reported infections: 65, 50, 52, 83, 139, 207 and 343 I sense a trend here.

I think the best advice I've heard so far is not to take precautions to try to avoid COVID-19, but to assume you have it and to take precautions to avoid passing it on.

I am really hoping the bigshots at my work announce a proper shutdown or full wfh on Monday as the first cases have appeared in the environs. I am preparing for the apocalypse by signing up for the one week NOW TV trial, to see if we can speed watch all the telly while the world burns. So far, we are halfway through Avenue 5, which is top banana and even has Sanjeev Kohli, a personal favourite, in it. Edit: and Daisy May Cooper!
Anyone got any NOW recommendations? Looks like Succession isn't on it unfortunately.

You can catch up with the DCverse* with Supergirl (S2-5), Arrow (S6-8), Flash (S4-6) and Legends of Tomorrow (S2-4)**, last few years they've had cross over episodes and this year they do the whole "Crisis on Infinite Earths" with multiple versions of various characters. *Arrowverse if you're picky. **No Batwoman as Sky don't have that.
