Gamesblog - I did it! I finished the tablet tasks for the farming community!
I've also built an armoury at the castle.
TVblog - that "race around the world" thing on BBC. Entertaining, and interesting seeing how different people deal with risk.
And the penultimate episode of Jack Ryan.

I am working from home now so obviously people keep emailing me important documents to sign, scan and return. The problem is that I am not allowed to connect my work laptop to a printer at home. I don't want to nip outside because Pandemic.

I’m a metalhead from Whitby, I regard goths in the same way the barman does Americans in the “first day of the Edinburgh festival” bit in trainspotting. Consequently, of course, everyone else seems to assume I’m a recovering goth. Quite unreasonable. |

Mornong Homies
One of Jeffs minions delivered a shiny new DAB radio adapter I was to fit in my car to add more options to my daily commute. That has been knocked on the head now, so it's clamped to the side of my desk and plumbed into my Aiwa deck for audio consumption and drowning out dog snores.
Looking forward to being able to livestream a whole summer of sports commentary.... ah....

I’ve been to Whitby during a goth weekend - our wedding anniversary coincides with Halloween and Sally’s family are from Whitby. Her great grandmother was a scullery maid in the house Bram Stoker stayed in.

I vividly remember using, even manufacturing various aymptoms to convince my mother and father I was too ill to go to school or scouts. They grimly told me that I wasn't ill enough, dressed me and chucked me out the door. I hated both school and scouts* so it became de rigueur to try this every month or so. The only problem was that I was booted out the door to go to scouts in short shorts on a sub-zero night to walk 3 miles to the draughty scout hut with a cold. Two years running I came back home with lobular pneumonia, temperature of 104-5f... I was heavily dosed with Penicillin both times, which is almost certainly why I rapidly because allergic... sometimes the wolf really is a wolf 🐺 *My brother was my Patrol Leader... you may gather that the one person in the whole, wide world I could never take orders from was the shit who enjoyed pushing me around anyway. When we had joined my father had been Scoutmaster - my early teens were, frankly, a fucking nightmare - believe me, with all my manifold illnesses, disabilities, being officially in isolation, I prefer life now, to then. |

Morning all! A Terry Dakyl themed header! Top banana.
I'm wfh I think until I switch jobs, which should be interesting. Luckily I had a premonition that this might be coming and grabbed most of the stuff of value in my office and brought it home on Monday. Hopefully the switch over will mean a period without a work laptop, when I am "unable" to do any work.
Games - no. Did get the 'grisser in though. Its (optionally) a horrific juxtaposition of the classic graphics for the map and portraits and some mobile game tier bollocks for the units themselves. TB.
Looking forward to TFT (an autochess) releasing on mobile soon. Its a great strategy/half paying attention game. Beware it has absolutely nothing to do with chess. My one and only win was when I wasn't really paying much attention to what I was doing and just kind of winged it.
Edit: Wide Andy has gone dark. Slightly worrying, given his age and disposition (mentalist). Tainted coke?
Edit edit: How will you catch coronavid-19? For me its most likely going to be a tainted can of Rod Hull.
