Morning!
3 hours of FF7:R squeezed in last night. It's good. Very good. No spoilers from me (except maybe the 23 year old ones). So far, blew up the reactor, met 'flower girl' and did some new stuff. Highly recommended, whether you played the original or not. Combat is seamless and fun (playing on normal). Tifa is bestest*. I have came across a few issues though that I assume will be fixed with a day 1 patch, just some missing blurred textures on buildings, nothing game breaking, yet. Safe to say I've never looked forward to staying up late to prepare for nights more.
* Not for that reason, pervert.

Plug screen and laptop in. Connect via hdmi. Turn on both. Set the output to the second screen. It's not difficult i'm sure. I managed to get my parents to get a VPN working (it was pre set up) so I am pretty confident your sister can set up a second/alternate screen. Except the 1st application (a) was to be on the laptop screen and 2nd application (b) was to be on the external screen. The screen was mirrored not extended and she was using a usb keyboard. The usb keyboard doesn't have the search button required for the shortcut in chrome-os (Search + Alt + M) to enable an app to be on a different screen. So, and I mean this with the greatest respect and love, fuck off. |

Gamesblog - nope.
Amigablog - got my WHDLoad installation working on my towered 1200, so a quick dabble with Putty Squad.
Also tried Fightin' Spirit, a beat'em-up that looks surprisingly good.

Gamesblog- Yes. Far Cry 5. Getting kidnapped is getting pretty old now, still, not long to go until I unlock this end of region mission, then onto the next one. Grenade launchers, exploding arrows, all the kabooms.
I also rescued the bear last night, seeing him bowl into a group of cultists and take them all out is great fun.

PHEW WOT A SCORCHER!
Today I'm going to make a healthy salad, which will contain, among other things, some mixed peppers and sweet Vittoria tomatoes. This will be accompanied by a MASSIVE lasagne. Pounds of cheese and stodge, perfect for a hot day. Oh.
James. TLOU remastered. I'm trying to time the finish with the release of TLOU2, so am dragging it out. Made it to the hospital last night.
OTTM. I'm holding off buying Resi3 for now.

Facetious advice is always the best advice. :-) I know getting people to do even simple things on a computer you can't see is surprisingly difficult and time consuming. Here's so many tiny bits you'd just do automatically without even noticing that suddenly you have to explain. |
