At least it wasn't a 503 Backend Fetch Error this time.

Morning all! People are taking their exercise seriously now - when I went out for my evening jaunt, there were OTHER PEOPLE around. It just won't do. Can't blame them though - was a lovely evening. Gamesblog - nah. No idea when I'll get back to DQB2. I think FFVIIR will be stuck in the machine til Christmas... TVblog - two episodes of 30 Rock, and then the pilot of Justified. Think I'll stick with that. OTTM - if you genuinely want some good news, check out this latest upload from John Krazinski. Heart-warming and smile-inducing.

Four days off you say. Stay the fcuk indoors and don't go anywhere. Great. Fcuk you lockdown. I think it's starting to get to me. Actually went out for a bike ride with my mate (who lives en route before you all go getting "idiot Brummies not social distancing" on me :S ) - reinforced the urge to get a proper road bike as soon as all this nonsense is over, as my monthly petrol bill plus easy 10 mile commute would definitely be better handled on two wheels. Janes: FFVII remake. Destroyed airbuster on second attempt. Met Aeris properly (no, it's not Aerith, whatever you insist on calling her SQEENIX). Got r3kt by some Shinra punk in the church twice last night though, this is the trickiest fight in the game so far. Four stars. OTTM: beer run to M&S at lunchtime for tonight's provisions to accompany kebab and chips and gaming night.

What kind of psychopath mows their lawn at 9.30 a.m.? My bloody neighbours that's who.
Gaming night went badly.

My wife's gone shopping, on her own. She is not happy about this. I did explain that I am only following Government guidelines regarding unnecessary journeys, as any good citizen would. I am not going to play Plum Stamper 6 in her absence.

I un-installed No Man's Sky to make way for World War Z and now I want to play it again.

Back up World War Z onto an external drive before deleting it to reinstall NMS.

Are people from the midlands always this strange?
This is normal. Proper normal. Bostin' I found living in London where people looked at you as if it was odd to want to subsist on a diet of strange bits of pig with lots of salt very stressful. For a start off my salt levels weren't in balance.
Get back to Brum and say I want chitterlings (chitlings) and people think you are posh.

I though this place had gone down with a virus but then it raises its head again. Games; found just cause 4, tomb raider, uncharteds and spoderman on psnow/plus so that me sorted for when the sun isn't out this long weekend. Now to stock up on meat that can destroy health with nitrosamines and sunshine enhancing booze later. Will people at large comply this weekend or will it all end up more like 28 days later?

I went to the park for a stroll again after dusk. I've always liked walking in the dark. It makes everything look different. Mostly darker. The moon was nice (though still not pink) and there were more stars out.
There was another walker. He was wandering along in the dark without a light. I found this highly suspicious. No good person would be wandering around at night without a torch.
Also the gates aren't being locked. Someone drove in. Up to the Jamboree stone, was there 2 minutes and drove out. Most strange.
Four stars Not recommended at all*
* only because I want nice peaceful walks.

I'm quite enjoying the lockdown in some ways
I've got in touch with old friends I had neglected. Which has gone pretty well. Apart from one, which has gone very well.
Also I finally joined a Birmingham City forum and that is good.
If football was still on it would be pretty perfect. Indirect social contact only , exciting times at work and on the news, increased acceptance of booze. Id prefer pubs to be open as well.

To say he's regimented and has a routine is an understatement. All spring - autumn long he's out in his gardens doing mowing, strimming, trimming, and other noisy power tool related activities. Not fun at 7am on a Sunday morning when you're slightly the worse for wear and trying to sleep.

The gates are usually open late in BST, and Town Gate traditionally closes around midnight due to the pub being there and last orders etc. No idea if they've decided to just keep them open 24/7 though. Jamboree Stone dogging you say?
