Bloody Cloudflare server... You guys are backing up your "vital" data, aren't you: MrTiddles - your list of where your tools of the trade (and bodies) are buried? tenthenemy - your extensive tinfoil templates and AC saves and info* Ozymandias Kane - your pron collection (binge watching indeed) Felice Landry - your collection of gig recordings** Admin - all the setup needed to recreate this home for the incompetent, incoherent and incontinent nerdfolk amipal - your collection of snaps Tuffers - your collection of balls ...or else *best get another external hard drive for that **hmm... perhaps not

I went to the park for a stroll again after dusk. I've always liked walking in the dark. It makes everything look different. Mostly darker. The moon was nice (though still not pink) and there were more stars out. There was another walker. He was wandering along in the dark without a light. I found this highly suspicious. No good person would be wandering around at night without a torch. Also the gates aren't being locked. Someone drove in. Up to the Jamboree stone, was there 2 minutes and drove out. Most strange. Four stars Not recommended at all* * only because I want nice peaceful walks. The gates are usually open late in BST, and Town Gate traditionally closes around midnight due to the pub being there and last orders etc. No idea if they've decided to just keep them open 24/7 though. Jamboree Stone dogging you say? No dogs. It was actually really peaceful. I don't think Suttonians are in to dogging, at least not in the park. I've rarely seen anyone there after dark except at the Parkhouse, the Boathouse and La Reserve (I don't think it is called that any more, but it is in my head). Maybe early in the morning the anglers and dog walkers do get together.

Admin - all the setup needed to recreate this home for the incompetent, incoherent and incontinent nerdfolk I find that offensive. I don't qualify as a nerd, as witnessed by my collection of '70s annuals.

TV. More Detroiters and the last Schitts Creek.
Games!
AC:NH. Spurred on by TentHens fab island getaway I planted some of apples she kindly gave me. My pear trees are starting to bloom and I've planted some more for the long game. Waiting on the coconuts to appear. The museum is now open.
TD2:WONY. Did another of the 5 guys missions. Three big yellow lads at the end with shields. Not fun. Needed revived twice. Need to sort the loadout.
Overcooked 2 is on gamepass so played that this morning with the child. Seems easier than the first game as we were romping the first few levels.
Lunch is fish fingers on everyone here's favourite; brioche buns.

Bloody Cloudflare server... You guys are backing up your "vital" data, aren't you: amipal - your collection of snaps I am. I have a Time Machine backup of the main system disk and Lightroom "Catalog". My disk that stores my RAW files is then manually copied to an external disk, and that disk is RAID mirrored. I should really store that backup+RAID over my mother-in-law's house when not in use.

This sounds terribly wrong, yet I now want to try it. With some tartare sauce. Alas, I am well stocked with fish fingers. But no brioche. Fuck you 2016!

Brioche buns, ffs. What next, burgers on hot cross buns? Fish fingers on doughnuts? There's a pandemic. And they were a replacement. But I have had on brioche finger buns before. It's good. No tartare unfortunately but I'm having sciracha or however it's spelled.

Hey all,
One of the upsides to the lockdown is that I'm more focused on my podcast. That's possibly also a downside.
Carrying on with Cities Skylines. It's incredibly addictive, even when not doin much just looking arounf and tidying up a street or putting in a path. This is worrying.
Perhaps I should pick up with FC5, getting to the point where I gave up the last time. No more stealth, just fiery deaths.

Four days off you say. Stay the fcuk indoors and don't go anywhere. Great. Fcuk you lockdown. I think it's starting to get to me. Actually went out for a bike ride with my mate (who lives en route before you all go getting "idiot Brummies not social distancing" on me :S ) - reinforced the urge to get a proper road bike as soon as all this nonsense is over, as my monthly petrol bill plus easy 10 mile commute would definitely be better handled on two wheels. Janes: FFVII remake. Destroyed airbuster on second attempt. Met Aeris properly (no, it's not Aerith, whatever you insist on calling her SQEENIX). Got r3kt by some Shinra punk in the church twice last night though, this is the trickiest fight in the game so far. Four stars. OTTM: beer run to M&S at lunchtime for tonight's provisions to accompany kebab and chips and gaming night. I have come to realise it is now Aerith due to it being spoken as such. Something to do with s and th being the same in Japanese or something. My ex had hair like her. Now Cait Sith should be Kat Shee but thats not happening.

I've created a monster.

Finished Life is Strange 2. It is fucking bleak. Rime squared. I decided to restart TLOU on grounded because you keep talking about it. Fucking hell the start is heavy. The game is the most bizarre mixture of incredibly sweet and utterly horrible.

The start of TLOU is bleak but there is at least something uplifting about the end. LIS2 has a grim beginning and an even grimmer end (admittedly, we seem to have somehow got the worst ending). crankcallerNothing personal on the brioche front, you absolute monster.

Amazing scenes when the window cleaners turned up, cleaned the windows and then knocked on the door asking for £6. Probably double dipping with the government benefit too.

SPOILER IF YOU LIVE IN 2010There's an ambiguity about the end. He refuses to let them do the research that might fix the virus as it will kill Ellie. I know in the game it is presented as some sort of redemption for Joel, but the potential cost is enormous. He put her and himself above everyone else. And lied to her about it. I did see it as upbeat, but not unreservedly so. Also I played the DLC straight after the main game last time. That is not upbeat.
