Gnocchi with pesto, basil leaves and cherry tomatoes. Made it last night, ate it at my desk.

Gnocchi with pesto, basil leaves and cherry tomatoes. Made it last night, ate it at my desk. Textbook lunch-prep. I've got some fish fingers in the oven... I'm so hungry.

I’m having coffee for lunch. Coffee and fear.

I watched the last episode of Godless last night, excellent series thoroughly recommend it. You think Jeff Daniels can't pull of a mean one-armed outlaw cowboy? Think again buddy.

I’m having coffee for lunch. Coffee and fear. Good luck Scubar. Remember firm handshake, no farting and clear, confident answers.

I’m having coffee for lunch. Coffee and fear. Irishing up that coffee will allay your fears and give you much needed pep and vigour for your interview.

The typical cheese sandwich / banana lunch combo for me. Assuming the weather holds, off for some Malaysian food tonight.

Although the pret avo and falafel wrap is tasty, it is sorely lacking in structural integrity.

scubarto misquote an old chatterbox: Just go in and punch the biggest one. That shows them you're serious Good Luck

If we'd had more time we could have got Scubar to take a Pret avacado and falafel wrap into his interview so he could pull it out halfway through, take a bite then bust out that joke out. Really knock the interviewer off his feet.

socky knows the score. The terrible score.
I've just smashed my head on the side of a very sharp and hard hearth. Going to have a lovely bump on the side of my noggin.

Why were we talking about Barrow in Furness? I've only driven through it (to get to the nature reserve) but it seemed a rather bleak sort of place to me. Millom on the other side of the estuary is nice. It has a small but interesting folk museum, including some stuff on the excellent Lakes poet Norman Nicholson.

Because a certain idiot got it confused with Bowness on Solway.

Scubar's interview should be over by now. I reckon he's gone down to Soho to drown his woes in wicked vice.
