I was the recipient of a lockdown haircut last weekend. Back and sides are fine. The top is... uneven. To say the least. I'd shave it all off, but my ghostly pale complexion and inability to grow any sort of beard would leave me looking like a skeleton.

I too am rocking a beard which is on the verge of getting out of hand. When I drink a bottle of beer I feel the hair as it slides in. The Unabomber look is very fashionable. |

I appreciate I'm nearly 51 and had a good run with regards to receding/white hair but still. I've not much else going for me excpept youthful looks!

It's very pale now though. Not exactly white. Not exactly not white. Also my beard has come through with a distinct whiteish sheen from some angles (those with light) It apparently looks distinguished. It's still short enough so it is not exactly clear what the dark/white balance is. I think it will be darker than my hair. But There is a strong risk of adopting a Gandalf look though What is disturbing is I have the same nose and hair as my maternal granddad. He was a very handsome man. But I do not need him appearing in the mirror in the mornings |

Games: As well as winning a Fortnite Duos game, I have also bought and played five minutes of Assassin's Creed Odyssey. Not certain I'll ever have time to play it. I have told 12y-o he can play the Discovery Tour, and it will be in addition to his usual allocation of PS4 time. I think his disappointment with it when he realises just how educational the Tour is will probably lead to him hating me forever. He is not allowd to play the main game.

I’ve discovered one or two hairs that look suspiciously grey in both beard and head hair. Now I’m thinking about just dousing myself in veet and going completely smooth, like a dolphin.

I think he'd be fine playing Ass Creed properly. I'm pretty certain the games are not that bad. It's a soft 15 I think. Or whatever the current rating system is.
Bit weirdly paranoid, but ok.
Mind you I visit shrunken heads for fun, so I might not be the best judge*
* Though I was only 9 when I first visited the head. It did not do me any harm. I am properly socialised and responsible like, so I guess it is all good

What's everyone's nose / ear hair loadouts? Aside from the usual, I have a single grey hair that grows out the top of my left ear, and another one on my right lobe. That's where the big league folliclular action is at.
