Some thanks go to Shenguin for not interfering in the final fight.
It worked out pretty well.
Also if my opponent had concentrated more on killing me and less on building it might have been more difficult.
As it was I crept around until he exposed himself*. Then shot him in the back, Bob Ford style.

I think duos is the hardest mode. We had been building towards a win. It was tantalisingly close 4 or 5 times recently.
It just required us to convert one opportunity finally.
Well me. I converted it.
I had noticed that slowly I am getting better. Aiming, choice of weapon and actually firing have all improved significantly. I'm still shit. Don't get m e wrong, but no longer embarrassingly bad.
* I am not sure Jesse James was exposing himself. Not like that anyway.

For full disclosure I should probably point out I had a good chance in the next game. Again after Shenguin checked out early.
My progress towards inevitable victory was only checked when I dived out of the helicopter from about 1,000 feet up, while trying to land it. I did not have a parachute.
In my defence it is slightly too easy to do. If you are utterly fucking stupid. Also it meant I was no longer drunk piloting.
Four stars.

The joy of been woken up at 6.45 by the child to be then told by the pm there's an Asda slot on the 27th and come up with a weeks meals / groceries quick smart.
I heart the pandemic.

My neighbours came back yesterday. I am not happy. According to 'Old Boy', an expert in the field of interrogation, they drove to Poland, spent a day there, came back and stayed in Salcombe for a few weeks because of the 'fresher air'.
I smell a dirty big fib.*
*not from Old Boy, as I accidently overheard the whole exchange.
OTTDM: Patient 'Commodore' is doing just fine this morning.

In the 15 minutes it takes to fill and check out, nothing was available ... I will be largely (ho ho) absent today; treatment has become inordinately painful since they decided to drop the Sunday visit. I won't go into detail, too early, but it will deprive you of my cheerful utterances ... |

Glad you got a slot Chumbles.
In the 5 mins we argued about when to take a slot several were gone.
TV. Started 'The Nest' but stopped to talk to my sister on the phone.
Games. TD2. A wee run around, helped a couple of randoms and did a couple of Propaganda broadcasts.
AC:NH. Poppped over to tenthens island to go shopping. Picked up a jumper, sweatpants and new specs.

I had an appalling night's sleep. I went to bed late, slightly drunk and over excited.
Strange dreams and woke up before 7.
Even without a hangover I am confident today is going to be a struggle.

We grabbed a Tesco slot for next week, despite none being available until three weeks time (if you were lucky) only a few days ago. I'd thank Crank, but was advised of free-slots via a colleague.
So what's changed? Have they magically conjured up extra capacity? A few hundred extra vans and drivers?
