First Dog is the best
Well my friend's plan is to buy West Texas Oil at negative prices. Then buy a Murderous Rort-O-Tronic 5000 using the proceeds. Then destroy all the potential human vectors of Covid-19.
I do not see My friend does not see how this can fail.

Morning, finished watching Once Upon A Time In Hollywood last night. Not much happens until the last 20 minutes, really. Enjoyed it though.

I watched the first half of The Matrix. Has there been a better sci-fi film since this came out?
I also had a single game of Fortnite, killed two players and came 12th. I do have the cool kitty cat dance now though.
Also, I want to go to the pub.

Morning all,
Started the Julius Caesar campaign on Fields of Glory 2. The first battle was pretty close and the second involved protecting the baggage train. Lots of variables which means replay value.
Much like BB one simple move error means death and rampage ensues.

I watched the first half of The Matrix. Has there been a better sci-fi film since this came out? It is still a brilliant film even after all these years. I watched it and John Wick recently within days of each other. Both are good films, but the former definitely feels more "real" despite taking place inside a computer.

Thinking about trying to do a realism army in total Warhammer, line infantry, cavalry, cannons and such, but no magic, no flying things etc.
This is what lockdown is bringing me to.

You can select various troop types and there are a few unusual options for the Romans (phalanx spearmen and elephants for example). I can understand why as otherwise Roman armies don't have much variation to them.

They need to meet the line that can fire 3 rounds a minute.

@ Lockdown chat. I actually considered uploading some piccys of my D&D figures last night, well, I've sacked that idea right off. Too much hassle, man.
I do have a couple of zombies in my collection, which were confiscated by my IT teacher at school. Turned out he was just really impressed with them. He gave them back at the end of class.
He was a good man, I gave him some microfiche once.
Fuck me, I have bored myself shitless writing this drivel.

Morning
Sunday roast yesterday. Yorkshire pudding spectacularly failed to rise. Anyone for hockey pucks?
Fillums - Fractured, and Night Hunter on Netflix. Games - no.

Not only, Serenity (2005), for me... stunning stuff and the underpinning sf tropes (the implication that China achieved hegemony over the Earth, weaponising human beings, Morena Baccarin, cough) - it's a tour de force ... ...but also, Moon, Interstellar, Stargate: The Ark of Truth and especially The Martian

Quarantine question:
If you stack two lasagne one on top of the other, how many lasagna do you have?

Quarantine question: If you stack two lasagne one on top of the other, how many lasagna do you have? I believe that purveyors of fine lasagna would refer to that as, 'Half a Kins III'.

Morning
Turns out commenting on First Dog a lot before going to bed aids sleep. Who would have guessed?
I am a bit disappointed my shameless pick whoring did not pay off. Maybe it was just a bit too shameless, unlikely though that seems.
And that I missed out on first comment on a popular article by a second or two.
Fortinite
Still stuck on 2 Duos wins. This <spreads arms as wide as possible> close to a third win.
Loads of second places. Got down to 1v1 a couple of times, not just 2 v 1. We even took health points off the winner more than once.
I am massively improved over even a few weeks ago. I 've noticed that except right at the end I tend to win the majority of fights. Particularly in buildings where I have worked out how to use the angles and a shotgun. I am fairly certain at least one or two of the players I have killed have been human, not just bots. It turns out most people only fire vaguely in your direction at first so if I get accurate shots in early I can win. It is still very much the case that if you can bounce or build and shoot you'll beat me.
I even came second in a Duos game while playing solo. That was a bit embarrassing. I just failed to select the correct game mode and ended up outnumbered, but never outgunned. 5 Kills in that game as well.

I assume it is not if set in ancient Rome as Fields Of Glory was Napoleonic. And the best. I loved that game. It was fantastic.
Good enough for me to buy Field Of Glory 2 and Field of Glory Empires on spec on the assumption that they are the same game? Absolutely yes.

I'm unsure, there are lots of references to an earlier game and a larger tabletop game. It seems that they've applied a similar process to Blood Bowl. It tries to be a faithful recreation of a tabletop game. Seems very popular.

So you’re suggesting I should take the 95th Rifles on a tour of Ancient Rome? It could work, I guess.
