Speaking of which, my kids say they have 12 duo wins on Fortnite and have never fallen out of a helicopter. They should try falling out of a helicopter. Everyone should try it at least once. In Fortnite. Are your children playing drunk? I think this may be where they are going wrong. |

The codeine has left me constipated. Try oral morphine* ... I limit myself to 10ml, just enough when they're cleaning my ulceration not to scream like a big girl's blouse - otherwise you spend your life balancing your painkillers with laxatives. At one time I was on Oramorph @ 30ml and the maximum dose of Tramadol (the heavy duty version of Codeine) AND 1-2 sachets of Laxido a day - all prescribed. I naively didn't realise that Tramadol was an opiate too. It all came to a crescendo of misery when after 8 days of err bunged up terror, Nursey, after taking me into my bathroom, err ready for action, gave me a suppository, lit the blue touch paper as it were and legged it out of the house ... I then read the notes on the Tramadol, told the GP I would rather die than take any more. I wasn't joking. Thank god our doctors don't have access to Fentanyl... *Meant ironically ... |

I’m not reading all that.
I’m having a few mid week beers.
Games - doom eternal. Am right at the end. Don’t think I like this as much as doom 2016. I don’t like the jumpy bits although they do tone it down a bit as times going on. They throw everything at you at least 5 times a level & the marauder can fuck off. I’m looking forward to playing it with the cheats on though.

My local co-op now has loads of loo roll and pasta, but not a single salt and vinegar crisp in any brand. I had to console myself with a whole tube of plain Pringles, but it's not the same.
