Telly: Watched the final Tiger King, I hear Nicholas Cage is doing a dramatization of it now.

Does anyone watch the daily question dodging behind podiums? Will spoons still re-open in June? Is a single glove sufficient ppe or are untaken/processed tests counted as completed?

Morning all.
I didn't have anything alcoholic to drink last night, and then I had the worst night's sleep possible. Coincidence? I think not.
Gamesblog - nope.
TVblog - 30 Rock, and we're onto the very last disc!
Also an episode of Justified, and I get the impression things are about to kick off.
Codingblog - put some time into handling how enemies are created and drawn. The initial array needs more useful test data in it, and I'll eventually populate this from a file.

Morning 'box. As I started work at 6.50am this morning, feels like lunchtime already, so just had my breakfast and taking a breather from hating on Visual Studio. Forgot to post yesterday, got carried away coding until late in the afternoon then turned to more important matters like burning a Windows 10 installation dvd on my non-work laptop ready for the sweet SSD upgrade as the SSD arrived yesterday morning (thanks Jeff). Now just need to backup the important data, documents, pictures, iTunes library, Icewind Dale game saves onto the external USB then install the new hard disk and watch it all die horribly.
Games: Played a bit of Spider-man on Sunday evening. Forgotten all the controls, so collected some backpacks and unlocked some towers. I could spend hours just swinging around virtual NYC and still have fun. They nailed the city traversal in this one.
OTTM: drank too much last week, trying to stay on the wagon until Friday.

Spiderman, one gripe is consevation of speed after a dive bomb, you seem to slow way down. They have the Ghostbuster fire house in game which is brilliant, however in terms of interest city Gotham seems to have more character, being a fictional place so having more freedom. |

I am so much better than a 10 year old girl that there is absolutely no need to prove it. No need at all. It would just be embarrassing, bad for her confidence. Would help if the questions weren't there to generate headlines. For once there is a genuine reason for giving a 'wait and see' type reply but the press keep asking very specific questions. It's them wanting set a new narrative angle to sensationalise. There are good questions to ask, but often these aren't in a paper's interest. |

I played Fortnite solo last night.
1 win in the first game. Sweet
I had one bad game where I place 98th with one kill , which amused me. First to land, first to kill, second to die.
Apart from that the bots had a bad night. I was averaging 5-6 kills a game. People kept walking in to my shotgun and assault rifle.

Except in tense moments*. A stream of abuse while chasing down someone who has shot at me. Playing with an open squad and mic on is not for me. On the other hand the 10 year old and 11 year old probably know all the words. They would just be learning how to use them properly. Also to make it fair everyone would need to have had 3 pints of wine/beer before playing and drink heavily during the game. I bet the 10 and 11 year old have never won a game while half cut. Or fully cut as I was on Saturday night (full disclosure: did not win while pissed) * Fortnite is pretty tense constantly |
