Chumbles . That's a superior header to Admin's shoddy effort. (Not too sure about the neck breaky bit)

Morning all!
We actually have grey skies down here today. High-winds* last night, but still no sign of rain.
Gamesblog: A couple of Amiga games, including the incomprehensible strategy game 1869. No idea.
TVblog: Parks & Rec, and then Community. This included the first paintball episode, which Is absolutely top-notch.
OTTM: I need to visit both the farm shop and butchers today.
*PARP!!

Haven't you bought enough farms by now?
Hello. Games. GTA stunt races and a mild BDT. AC.NH. a little. Money in the bank and going BIG on neeps this coming week.
TV. No.

Good morning? No games. I did however watch all the TV. First two episodes of 'arrys 'eroes, then an episode of Community. The one where they do something quirky, then reflect on what great friends they all are.
I also had to sit through the Greatest Showman. Not my cup of tea, but nowhere near as bad as I was expecting.

Hi. Games? No.
Telly? Westworld. I have no idea what is going on.
Ottm: I've got a new kettle. And some new knitwear. 4 stars.

Morning, having worked all through the lovely weather I now have less that has to be done inside at a pc and it's gone grey and cold out. Beer chat, I also have emptied the house of booze, have a shop today and as currently healthy and able don't get delivery but still go to a shop. Brewery trip tomorrow.

Morning
Grey and drizzly here so must be a bank holiday weekend approaching. I am losing track of the days. Must have had some sun recently as my knees are sunburned. Booze status - beer and red wine aplenty. Last bottle of white got opened last night. Optics are empty, so that needs so remedial action. Games - no TV - nothing memorable. Watched High Plains Drifter again - never occurred to me he could be a ghost. Belated happy birthday to Scubar for yesterday. How's the hangover?

Turns out the groceries are coming in Sunday, not today. So still no booze.
Still. No. Booze.
I should probably look to make the most of my new found sobriety.
Windy out.

Bought The Farmphrase: refers to someone deceased in a military accident or operation. Phrase predates World War II, but came into common use at that time due to the large numbers of training casualties due inexperienced pilots/crewmembers trained in aircraft that are much less reliable than today. Common accidents in rural areas would result in aircraft crashing into barns, fields, or rural property, resulting in damages. The US Government would compensate the affected property owners with checks to pay for damages, or in some cases condemn land contaminated with undetonated/unlocated munitions/weapons, in effect "buying the farm".
"28 of us started out in my class in UPT (Undergraduate Pilot Training) but only 11 of us earned our wings. 13 washed out, 2 got held back, and Higgins and Baker bought the farm when they lost power on climb-out."

To keep health risks from alcohol to a low level, the UK Chief Medical Officers advise it is safest not to drink more than 14 units a week on a regular basis. So, what is a unit?

So would one say that it is a 'glass half empty' situation or is more a case of a glass half full? asking for a friend (who drinks a lot of coffee)

My new raspberry pi that's going to be an openmediavault server arrived.
The child ordered dolls with birthday money and they also arrived. So guess what I've had to play with.
The flirc case I got is a thing of beauty.

24/24 Who wants to touch me?
I knew all of the Tolkien characters and most of the drugs. Anything I wasn't certain of I thought must be a drug.

218 ml of beer plus 25 ml of whisky plus 250ml of beer plus 87ml of wine plus 250 ml of alcopop seems quite generous for one unit of alcohol.
