That unbearably long NP2 game is over; you will recall that I was 1st as part of a 2 strong alliance vs 6 others. The 6 whittled us down. I managed eventually to split their alliance once one of them had quit. I was 10th with 3 stars, but I managed to finagle / fight my way up to 37 stars and 3rd. 50.long.days... What.a.tedious.game.... The following chart shows the changing position towards the end. The white track is mine, the yellow their dropout guy. The two mega powerful leaders who finished 1st and 2nd aren't shown so as to highlight the dogfight for 3rd |

Morning all.
TVblog: Chef and My Fridge.
Filmblog: after I watched The Big Short the other evening, I was recommended Margin Call. So watched that. 4*
Gamesblog: Trials with my Amiga. First up, neither Team Yankee or Pacific Islands want to start - no errors, no nuthin'.
Thought I'd give The Chaos Engine a play, but suffering from continuous slow-down, even with nothing going on.
Did various tweaks to no avail. Then I disabled a patcher which runs on.boot. This required a power-off to fully disable it.
And now when I switch it back on, I just get a continuous drive-activity light and no boot... the joys of thirty-year-old computing...

Games - AC Odd. Waved goodbye to Kephalonia, and sailed my way to Megaris to take down the Wolf. I’m going to pick up the DLC now that I know it works on my laptop. I can fully recommend the Epic sale. Get a free game, get given a voucher for £10 off, spend it, get given another voucher for £10 off, repeat ad nauseum.

I wanted to take a gamble on the AC odd dlc from epic working with my copy but they won't sell you it if you don't own the game .

I want one... meet the Cube Borg PC - I'd call it BorgBox Looks pretty cool, hopefully you can just buy the case as of the 3 kits available only one has a specialist GPU and even then it's a little dated. |
