I assume it is actually cheaper than paint stripper. it has that advantage, plus Sainsbury’s deliver.

I’d jut like to be clear that the triple sec is not some fancy reserva stuff, it’s just been at the back of a cupboard for the best part of a decade, ousted from favour by flashier alternatives and rediscovered in a time of crisis.

That’s an opportunity, not a crisis.

I had a ticket to see the Book of Mormon yesterday. Sad face emoji. I was meant to get married two weeks ago. Silver linings, eh?

Ooft, is that my first appearance in a box header image? Maybe.
Coffee - using Asda extra special javan volcanic island beans today. Passable.
After yesterday's chat I ordered some of the good stuff from hasbean. Hopefully it arrives after the weekend so that I don't drink too much, leaving me unable to catch up kn all the sleep I missed to to returning to work.
Booze - split a bottle of white wine, a can of Bad Co double ipa and a can of their milkshake ipa.
During lockdown I've realised that supermarket craft beer is getting pretty good these days. Tesco do one in collaboration with North and have another couple of good ones like hop skip and juice from Vocation, pineapple express from tiny rebel and the ddhipa from Salt.
What's everyone's go to white wine? That was the first bottle I've bought in years and stuck to my old usual: a Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc.

Go red or go home.
I am not a lady or a child.

Yip. NZ Marlborough. That's what MrsC normally drinks. If it's the reserve stuff I don't usually get near it "There's beer, don't you want a beer..."
*Sight undertone of menace, waving a bottle opener about*

Another vote for MSB, though my favourite is another Aussie wine:

Hello all.
I've been sun-bleaching an old computer mouse for the last two days. It's almost lost its jaundiced look, needs another seven I reckon. But now the clouds have arrived. Bastard weather.
Gamesblog: my PS4 didn't want to switch on yesterday lunch time. I unplugged it for the rest of the day, and retried it in the evening. Bam. Worked first time. So, Skyrim. Actually came-a'cropper of some Forsworn. They don't like the magic up 'em.
TVblog: Community. My partner also watched the finale of Friends, and who should we see on the aeroplane but ol' Jim Rash (Dean Pelton).
OTTM: partner and boy have headed out for the afternoon. If I'd have been informed sooner, I'd have planned some Sweet Content creation. Alas.

What's everyone's go to white wine? It's a soft drink. Usually can't go wrong with NZ whites.

Knowing the quantities around here people either have a barrel hidden somewhere and chilled lines to the tap or a stack of boxes.

In essence, you lot are not helping.

Watched What We Do in the Shadows.
Loved it, Paul Rueben turning up in his old Buffy costume.
Also Matt Berry is always brilliant.

What's everyone's go to white wine? It's a soft drink. Usually can't go wrong with NZ whites. Depends... hot day, chilled right down, Gewürztraminer (if you're loaded) or Berticot Cuvee Premiere Sauvignon Sec, Cotes de Duras, France where I got used to it when staying near Duras; it is normally £4-£5 With fish, deep pockets PALACIO DE FEFINANES ALBARINO DE FEFINANES 2019 ca £15, but I adore Manzanilla and would drink it any time; thing a dry full sherry with a hint of the sea, but this isn't fortified = it's a wine. Prices vary, but Manzanilla La Guita at ca. £5 is bloody good value. With dessert? Fuck off. Always Calva, Armagnac or Cognac. Sweet white wines screw up your head AND digestion, most have too much sulphur and/or sugar.
