White wine? That's a tricky question for me, so I better furtively type the answer on my phone while the Pref. Mam. isn't looking... Although he subscribes to Sheep's/pub landlords' philosophy and only has white wine with a fish dinner (which in turn brings out a craving for chocolate for dessert in him... can anyone explain men to me sometime?), we usually have a suppply of South African white. This is just so that when we open a bottle, one of us can declare that it is fortunate that I don't have anything against a white South African.
I could try to defend this but I won't.
But secretly I prefer a white Kiwi on the side.

Ooft, is that my first appearance in a box header image? Maybe. Going by the billing you're Cary Grant and I'm Rosalind Russell

In other drink related news, last night we had homemade seafood pizza for dinner, and to quote the words of wisdom by one Mr Tuffers (I think, don't quote me on this), the anchovies are salty little buggers. I spent the evening knocking back wine and the night knocking back water and dreaming of refreshing drinks.

With dessert? Fuck off. Always Calva, Armagnac or Cognac. Sweet white wines screw up your head AND digestion, most have too much sulphur and/or sugar. I've never had a dessert wine that was any good. Vile syrup.

All this wine nonsense! You get all these wine people, don't you? Wine this, wine that. Let's have a bit of red, let's have a bit of white. Ooh, that's a snazzy bouquet. Oh, this smells of, I don't know, basil. Sometimes you just want to say, sod all this wine, just give me a pint of, mineral water.

Channeling BabyfarkmcGeezak (weatherman, not the dessert wine tosh)... Here are going to get some real crackers of thunderstorms overnight and a.m. Already low rumblings from something other than my digestive system. EMP travels, so my 1500w UPS is invaluable. Many cms of rain + EM pulses possible ... 31c in my box. Got my neighbour in to grab my megafan from upstairs. Cooler, but blown pollen etc screwing my eyes up... Just had the nurse back for a second visit to correct some errors; if any of you are misguided enough to want to see my leg looks like let me know. Nurse used my mobile to take some for reference.

None here - the only sound is the asthmatic wheezing as Mrs gong is inflating the pool.
Really must get a new washer for that pump...

Bit more windy here (no, I did not have beans last night) as the forecast weather keeps doing a no-show and the weather forecast has to be revised accordingly. So no thunderstorm for us but it's supposed to cool down over night.
What's the point of having a weather forecast?

There's a few things in the steam sale I might grab. The tomb raider i was playing on Gamepass that got removed is £5. Couple of other possibilities.

That guardian article on the sex people husband who manages his wife’s onlyfans account.. the now mostly only enjoys it for the logistics involved. That’s why I’d get into sex work, the logistics.
