We had thunder/lightning last night and some thunder first thing. Been dry since then but supposed to piss down for three days solid. Marvellous.
Fucking idiots spouting total shite about the Glasgow knifings on twitter. Who'd of thunk it.
Corned beef hash for dinner. Our new non stick pan is crisping it up nicely.

That guardian article on the sex people husband who manages his wife’s onlyfans account.. the now mostly only enjoys it for the logistics involved. That’s why I’d get into sex work, the logistics. He finishes by saying he has got bored with it and is taking up Animal Crossing. At least we now know where Pyjakson has been the last few weeks.

Here we are going to get some real crackers of thunderstorms overnight and a.m. My 1500w UPS is invaluable. Many cms of rain + EM pulses possible ... I can hear thunder...⛈

Bit more windy here (no, I did not have beans last night) as the forecast weather keeps doing a no-show and the weather forecast has to be revised accordingly. So no thunderstorm for us but it's supposed to cool down over night. What's the point of having a weather forecast? Something to complain about.

Anyone got any recommends for a reasonably priced Hoover? Bosch. Old school with a bag. Had all sorts of whirlpooly bollocks before. All ended up in the bin. Deffo do NOT buy an actual 'Hoover'. The last one I had burst into flames.

The correct answer to any white* goods question is Bosch.
* actual colour may vary. I have a black fridge freezer, because I am not racist.

Or maybe I have made my white goods black up inappropriately because I am racist.
Difficult to tell.

If you’re looking for high end suction try a Henry. They could suck the hind legs off a donkey.
No idea about which hoover to buy.

It doesn't have to be an actual hoover. I'll have a look tomorrow when I've been at the coffee.
Thanks.

MrTiddles I have a Dyson upright and a Shark. The Dyson is very old (on it's second belt) but is still brilliant at carpets, good on vinyl and laminate floors. The weird extension tube in the handle is fucking awful and I only use the attachments if I really really have to... the accordion hose acts like a spring pulling the body of the machine behind you, often onto the floor or the back of your legs when you try and get rid of corniche cobwebs. But for me, constantly shedding skin on the floor so vacuuming carpets between 2-4 times a day it's very useful The Shark lives upstairs - it's pretty much the reverse of the Dyson = it just don't have the same suction and the HEPA filters are nowhere near as good, but it's much easier to reach places. If I were to buy another one I might well get a Henry... It's the most versatile and looks like you can blame the empty beers on it as well!
