We as a nation have been encouraged to delegate our decision making to the government, NHS, etc. and consequently we feel we can ignore our responsibility to others and ourselves. So quitting our addictions is someone else's responsibility and fault. We are the feckless fuck-witted fools who will flock to communal events in the worst pandemic in our lifetimes, or worse. Man up, wankers, grow up and take responsibility for yourself and if you fuck it up, face the consequences like adults. Bravo, sir. I fully agree with this.

Chumbles tough love sans love. It's fuck all to do with love (and I deeply resent the implication that I don't care or have the capacity to love. You haven't a fucking clue what I do for other people or whether or how much I've loved). The essence of my rant is that this 'entitled' generation and the ones before is that they have delegated their thinking and addictions to the medical profession and by extension the government or their leaders - you can see this with Trump's rally. These folk in China, Russia, the USA have replaced thinking with faith in their leaders...

No games last night, too hot.

Is Ozymandias the Obscure OK? Are you OK, Ozymandias Kane I got to go and blend gunk all over the kitchen again... a man of iron will and the dexterity of a brontosaurus; I wear PPE gear for this (apron, glasses, gloves and towel round lower face). Me and the kitchen have only just recovered from the last attempt.
Toodles
PS crankcaller... re: "pants", I thought you braw laddies went commando under your kilts?

People have stopped work during lockdown? That would have been nice. Days on site mean trying to fit 5 days work into 3, wfh is just longer days and trouble with the VPN access. Less commuting does mean earlier booze times but also not stopping on the way home for bits that might be needed. Have read more books though, the next GoT book might arrive sometime finally and any news on the Patrick rothfuss kvothe book?

Went for a walk in the country park near our house. Pretty busy. Groups of teens wandering about the streets as well.
About to make turkey burgers and paprika wedges for dinner.

That's better Boro And come on you Blues! So Warnock seems to have had an impact; almost a 6-pointer as you get above Stoke...

That's better Boro And come on you Blues! 3-3 was ok. Particularly considering we started the game socially distant from the ball. I enjoyed it. Much better than last week's game. I'm unsurprised Warnock won. I think you have an ok squad. Should have been in contention for the play offs. Woodgate reminded me of Lee Clark as a manager.

Morning Everyone!
I'm having my seventh dump since last night's curry. Ow.
I have a hankering to go online and buy a Shark.
Edit: also, I could chew the actual bollocks off a Marlboro Red right now. Thanks Destry.

I have just bought Abbadon the Despoiler on a whim that I will definitely join a club to play 40k.
This will be added to all the 40k stuff I bought 8 years ago, as I was going to join a club.....

I could chew the actual bollocks off a Marlboro Red right now. Thanks Destry. If you only knew how much work was involved. In other news, I finished watching David Tennant and Michael Sheen in Staged on the iPlayer. Highly recommended. 4 stars.

Glastonbury 2000 on iplayer. Bloodhound gang and counting crows. Glad I missed that shite at the time. Christ almighty. I have seen both of those bands. Bloodhound Gang when I was at university as I was given a free ticket. I was too drunk to remember much of it. Then a few years ago pref mam guilt tripped me into going to a Counting Crows gig. Awful. Never again.

Morning all!
It is morning, isn't it? I didn't really sleep, so I'm not sure what is going on.
Gamesblog: Skyrim, natch. Master-Destruction-training has gotten expensive. Looking at over 3k per level. Sheesh. Still, my overall level is 32, so plenty of training to go yet. This does mean visits to various caves/dungeons/tombs to get the cash - and I'm enjoying that process immensely.
TVblog: a Community. I then switched that off, because I'd remembered the whole Glastonbury-thing on iPlayer. First (and probably only) stop - R.E.M... watched the first couple of songs, but it was too late to run through the whole 78 minutes of their set. Tonight then.
