Morning.
Yesterday I woke up with a sore throat. This bothered me because if the common cold can get to me then so can the Covid and my shielding has been faulty. So I did what anyone would do in this situation and blamed the Preferred Mammal for having the electric fan on and the windows open for far too long after the weather had turned cold again to combat his excessive sweating, thus turning me into a frozen block à la Han Solo.
This morning the throat is still sore but only on the right hand side.
Games: didn't get time to take part in the Bug Off in AC:NH until the late afternoon but still fun. I think I've scraped enough points together for a bronze trophy.
OTTM: grocery delivery later today

I thought everyone knew this, but when there is no wind, droplets from a sneeze can travel up to 27'... when there's wind* the droplets can go further. If you were within shouting distance of your grandchildren and none of you were wearing masks they are your most likely vector - children are notorious bug magnets and if they sneeze without a mask... Still, it's more likely you have a flu or cold variant. Miserable, but not deadly ... *Not Shenguin 's Wind of Curry

Shenguin's Wind of Curry? I think I saw them play live at Glastonbury once.

I have The Counting Crows album with Colour Blind, I remember there being two good songs on it. I've never heard that album but I'm fairly sure you're remembering wrong.

Which one of you has my Anker battery pack? It was on the coffee table. I know you moved it 'tidying'

Morning. I am 90% less dead than yesterday. Apologies to those who are disappointed by this news. Once more into the breach, dear Tids.

I know you moved it 'tidying' One of the very real penalties of isolation and age and the consequent deterioration of short term memory is that not only do you misplace things*, but you also have nobody else to blame. *You also become increasingly obsessed with positioning - "a place for everything and everything in its place"... **Oh Hell, I'm turning into my Mother: No cliché left unspoken... pass me the revolver... ... ...a brain fart? That was Shenguin's Wind of Curry... that's why I need the revolver.

Hi
I'm just about to embark on an afternoon of FA Cup footy. Chicken dinner.
Games, 3-4 hours of TLOU2 last night. Whatever anyone tells you or you read on the internet, hear this, this game is GOAT.
Making chicken kebab skewers later so a chance to try my Scorpion chilli and passion fruit hot sauce.
Word.

Hello, this morning I made cheese straws with left over puff pastry and Parmesan cheese. They’re very nice, I’ve only eaten 12.

The battery was under the TV.
I've ordered another from Jeff as my older one is not really keeping a charge anymore. The child has a habit of leaving switch/ds/iPad/anything she can get her grubby hands on with fuck all power and casually mentioning "oh, that needs charged..."
She yesterday was killing herself laughing at Liam Gallagher on Glastonbury saying he looked ridiculous. Four stars.

Killed it.
Chicken, chorizo, chickpea stew thing for dinner. Could do with some sourdough for dippin' Mash with it instead.

Meatballs in a tomato, basil and oregano sauce with oven-roasted rosemary and garlic potatoes. boiled rice with garden peas and boiled eggs chopped up in it. nothing mega as I couldn't be asked to do a cheese sauce. chilling out day. wasn't well for 5/6 days feeling better now still got the sniffles though. I don't think it was CV-19 as I didn't have a fever. TV no ganes no Netflix: saw a thing on YT about the STORROR boys doing the parkour for the Michael Bay film 6 Underground on Netflix, so I had to see the film after, 4* 3:30 am crash out. never again.

My worst ever week of food was toast for brunch. Then boiled rice, frozen peas and brown sauce for dinner. Had no money and a horrendous tic bill. Still had weed though.

How many people have had unexplained illnesses that are not thought to be cv-19 compared to regular box posters? Seems like it's been floating around and spread through different parts of the community before testing was sorted.

Seems like it's been floating around and spread through different parts of the community before testing was sorted. Was having this exact conversation yesterday. A lot of people had long-term or reoccurring cold-like symptoms in February down here. Bear in mind that Brighton was ground-zero in the UK... A friend of my partner went to the doctors in March after having an horrendous cold in Feb: one scan later, and they told her she'd had COVID19. She'd been working the entire time.

It is truly nuts.
