Morning all.
Wedding is being pushed back again, new guidelines basically meant we couldn’t have the wedding we wanted in the venue we’d chosen. We’re now putting it back to next year sometime, and somewhere else.
Anyway, onto things that matter.
Games - RDR2 - managed to bag the last few perfect pelts I needed to unlock the legend of the east satchel for crafting. Now I just need a perfect cougar pelt and a perfect wolf pelt. Should be easy. I don’t even want to do any missions, I’m just enjoying exploring the world.
AC Odd - couple of side missions, rigging a trial against So Crates by murdering his accusers, then back on to the story.

scubar Why not go the route of a small* civil ceremony this year and a full ceremony + bells and whistles next year? *Just immediate family with MrTiddles aa the bouncer, err usher, I'll officiate in my capacity as Elder of the Abbys Without the beard I'm sure that between us we can provide a plan for a day that you and your beloved will remember forever**
**Probably with a shudder...
And, for a small fee, MrTiddles can provide a deep pit for socially distancing your less favoured invitees.***
***And for a bigger fee he'll remove the ladder once they are down there.

Just do the whole table for us, you lazy bastard Felice Landry. Good morning everyone else. It's raining. Games: none. Fortnite: got a Duos Victory, pretty much on my own while my partner concentrated on being dead. scubar, sounds like a close escape. What's your excuse for next year going to be?

neither nyself or the missus wanted anything extravagant.
Organised it in 2 weeks. Couple of friends at the registry office as witnesses. Then a meal with a small group of family and friends.
Easy.
My sister had the massive wedding event. I didn't have the money or the ability to handle the stress levels. My stag do was a few mates and a night out in some decent pubs.

Have you chosen which dug will carry the ring? As they’re both completely incompetent, and one of them would probably try and eat the rings, neither one.

Morning. Rumours of my death have been greatly over exaggerated. I have been heavily engrossed in the phenomenon of 'Worving from home'. Since you all know how hard I worked whilst actually in the office, you can imagine how much more I've done whilst at home. On an unrelated note, I have played quite a few games of note over the last few months. . . Warcraft. Finally spent so much time on it that I couldn't stomach booting it up any more. Only took 6 maxed and geared characters to break me. I'll still be back once the expansion drops but can stop for good any time I want. Honest.Pathfinder: Kingmaker. A D&D type game, reminiscent of Baldur's Gate. Very good, very long and very picky about how you go about getting the best ending. A game breaking bug meant a restart at ~65 hrs in, but the game was good enough for me to happily do so. 4 *s. Frost Punk. Post apocalyptic base builder. Pretty good but infuriatingly hard, even on low difficulty settings. Risk of Rain 2. Missed out on the first but the second is a pretty good FPS rogue like. Later levels get stupidly hard though. Space Haven. Space ship/ base building/ exploration game. Very good. Fairly steep learning curve but gets too easy toward the end. Still worth the traditional 4 *s though. Persona 4 Golden. Finally released on a proper gaming machine. Hell of a game. Love it. Finished one play through and immediately started NG+ to try and max all social links (currently just up to Naoto's dunegon for those who've played). Also, Nanako is the cutest character ever put into a game and I will not apologise for using that word. I'm not going to divulge what I almost did at a certain scene . 5 *s, yep, 5. I also now have Persona 5 on it's way to me. If it's as good as 4 I'll be very happy. The bad news is that, after 18 months on shifts, my 6 month secondment is coming to an end, meaning back to the joyful world of development and 9-5 for me. Currently on my final 12 off so can't complain too much. The good news is, that means I'll be here more, spouting yet more rubbish into the abyss with the rest of the asylum. Bet you're all thrilled. So, how's everyone been? Any flounces? How was the 'box reaction the the 'trans propaganda' of TLOU2? I didn't click with the first so it didn't interest me, but the fallout of the whiners* on Twitter has been fun** to watch. Have to admit, the gameplay does look good, however that is based off of SunhiLegends clips and that guy could make anything look good. *Read, nobheads. **Read, depressing.

We did talk about that, but as there were only going to be 7 immediate family guests anyway, we didn’t think it was really worth doing. Are you sure, I've added a few more tasteful ideas. And if you have the same type of in-laws I had, Tids and I can arrange an underground car park with a giant video screen of the ceremony for your complete safety. Felice Landry can provide them with the after-ceremony music and for just a small fee, with footage of every gig he's ever been to* *And WeeCooper can provide a fleet of cement mixers for a more permanent solution ... Shipping from where they were left after the construction of the marine terminal on the Orkneys ( Flotta Oil Terminal) might cost a bit...

Have you chosen which dug will carry the ring? Dug means boob, especially a cow's boob. Tee-hee. Probably more fun than giving the ring to a canine.

Morning fellow inmates.
Is it wrong to eat a kebab with no sauce, I think not.
OTTDM: The Lad outdid himself yesterday afternoon. Someone, not me nor Oldboy, put in a noise complaint about him. He did not take it well. Screaming expletives at the top of his voice for hours with an accompaniment of bangs and crashes. It was fun to see his mates escape one by one. The last one to leave said, 'OK mate, I'll come 'round tomorrow and sort that out for you.'. As he walked off he said, 'Fucks Sakeeee...'.
Top notch entertainment.

I've been advocating it for years.

The first kid is back with child minder today. Break out the fuckin' bunting.
No games or telly. I have had a lot of opportunity to read though as my second child keeps me up at night. Over the last month I have read:
1984 Do androids dream of electric sheep? The Great White Space (which is brilliant - a must read if you like sci-fi horror)
And I am half way through a collection of HP Lovecraft short stories.

I am going to win the half yearly table by a mile. Working during lockdown in a mostly empty office has been ideal for my productivity. Also I would point out I got a strong second place in Fortnite. You only moved us up one position. I had killed one of the last two and slightly damaged the other. So 48 of the positions were down to my good play. Only one position was down to you.

@weddingchat
I had a traditional Church Wedding with bell ringers and a choir. Do it once, do it right.
On hearing the bells ring, my mum said, 'It's all electric music these days'. I then pointed out the dudes yanking on ropes, 'Oohhh...'.

Morning all!
Gamesblog: back to Skyrim, and I sorted out the temple of Meridia for her. It was a dreadful mess - and that was before I waded in. Had to reload at one point, as if ice-spiked Faendal in the head, and he wasn't getting back up.
TVblog: Community.
Amigablog: delving into custom ROMs...

Yo and that.
Games: Titanfall 2. Played one game, got a 4:1 k:d, then sacked it off because no way I was beating that, I was on fire. Fragged three scrubs in under 5 seconds, I was absolutely on it.
OTTM: Christ exercise is boring. I'd literally rather be doing anything else, like chugging beers or stuffing my gaping maw with pizza. Which is how I got in this mess in the first place I suppose.

I realised last night that when I go actually back to work I'll need to empty the dishwasher at night before bed instead of when I get up. Fuck you 2020.
Also I'll not be able to drink coffee on the train as I'll need to wear a mask.
Are pro-plus making facemasks with impregnated caffeine yet?
