Given that keef still writes for the Other Place, more than Keza, you’d think they’d find the room for an occasional chatterbox. Given that the chatterbox was the chatterbox, you'd have thought they would have shut it down a lot sooner. The quality* and quantity of the articles at the other place has dipped since Keefs departure. *unless you count the box, in which case quality has skyrocketed** to unheard of proportions ** 4 stars

Hello I thought of you, surrounded by your mathoms*, Mr T, lots of old boxes, the tin can you used to kick around as a nipper, the little box with curly hair, and not least a Casio watch with the upside down display stuck on 9734...But then she started waving at me
*I love that word; especially the discordant ambiguity between Tolkien's use of it and its original Anglo Saxon meaning ...

Has cobblers snuffed it? cobblers - have you gone beyond (I hope not ... ...but if you have, I'd like to have first dibs on your book collection.

As long as it's only the chat, that's alright. It's when you hire Mr T for a wet job on cobblers and then feign innocence and express interest in his book collection...

There's a lot of words in the blog today, too much for my brain. I see Mr. Tiddles has been modelling for Melvazord again, nice detailing even down to his cheeky grin..

I think there’s a big difference between a wet job and wet work.
I’ll forgive TentHen if she sends me a reply I’ve for a bamboo partition.

Power cut at lunch time, fortunately only lasting 2 or 3 minutes. I'm just hoping that this does not become a habit again.
Further mishaps: As I was getting ready for bed last night I put a dollop of toothpaste on my electric toothbrush. As I put the brush into my mouth and switched it on, the blop of toothpaste flew out of my mouth and, while I watched in the bathroom mirror, through the air in some kind of comical slo-mo and landed on my chest. Unfortunately I had made the mistake of removing the hair band that ties my flowing lockdown locks into a ponytail, so my hair became partially covered with toothpaste. It may give you a fresh, healthy smile but I have found that it leaves your hair in a dreadful state. No stars.
As I told Pref. Mam. about this he remembered the one time he put shaving cream instead of toothpaste on his toothbrush.
Anyone watching the Xbox event now?

Funnily enough cobblers disappearance coincided with his local pub stopping beer takeouts. Coincidence?

I've been washing my hands frequently while singing Happy Birthday twice, in case that helps. What's that about a bamboo partition? I can make you one and watch out for a spare recipe, but I need you to visit sometime or have your gate open for me to drop by.

I've had a nightmare of an afternoon courtesy of a nightmare of a process, made even worse by my nightmare choice of the incorrect servers to query.
Everything is mostly definitely not coming up amipal.

I had a dream last night in which Ozymandias Kane had been appointed as my new boss. He was a dapper man with a moustache and a bow tie.

Home sweet home. Back from the inlaws.
The last supper was chicken breast wrapped in bacon stuffed with garlic butter, Daughinoise potatoes and broad beans. Amazing stuff. So tasty. Can't believe it's Friday tomorrow. A small bdt in a while I think.

I am watching Nick Cave live at Ally Pally. 'Live'. It was recorded a few weeks ago I think.
Not a big crowd in
Pretty good.

I've just played a wonderful game of Zombies* with a terrific chap called 'Bob Minge'. He was excellent, unlike his shit internet connection which crapped out. Amateur.
*I know, I said I wouldn't.
Still, shooting Zombies with Bob M., that's going in the book for my memoirs.

Hi
Prawn curry tonight. HOT.
I think I might have found a glitch in the matrix. A flaw in the economy, maybe.
Went to the co-op earlier. As it's BDT, amongst other items, I had a 6 pack of *insert popular generic Belgium lager* in my basket. At the til, the til person said "don't you want the offer with the beer?"... "what offer" I asked..."you get a deal if you buy it with 4 burgers"... "no, it's OK thanks"... *deep sigh and look of disgust*... "look, the beer is £4.50,but if you get the burgers offer, then both items total £3.50".... "oh, hold on, let me just grab the burgers".
I still can't work it out. But i am on my fourth beer. So who cares.
OTTM, also bought some facemasks in the co-op.

It was the summer of 1873. Me and Bob Minge threw our mathoms into the well, he said it was time for "Zombie huntin'". Well, I didn't know what he rightly meant, but, by the Lord, he showed me...

To wear masks, coverings or a balaclava to do the shopping from tomorrow? If you go and eat in no cover but into the same place and take away you do need a cover. In the same place, with the same people and likely to be in the 2m space for the same length of time. Following the science eh?
Could be worse, could be Portland. Big Dom needs a new recruitment drive, not for the odd ones out but for those missing the BNP.

We've just been out to favourite restaurant for our first public social thing since lock down.
Lovely meal, Pref Mam choice first:
Starter Curried Crab on sourdough Creamy Wild Mushrooms with pistachio on toast
Main Paupiette de Boeuf - Slow Cooked beef rump & sausage meat parcel with a chestnut mushroom & potato gratin Lemon Garlic Chicken with Provencale tomato, potato gratin & tenderstem broccoli
Dessert Raspberry brownie with ice cream Chocolate & Tea Torte with ice cream
Washed down with a glass of fizz a G&T and a bottle of Pinot Noir finished with glasses of Sauternes and Banyuls.
4*
Everything went well, all the social distancing etc. etc. and no anxiety.
Still no pub though.
<edit>Half of the price was booze, those lucky tee-totallers.
