Morning all.
TVblog: watched the 30 Rock one-time special. It's a glorified advert for Peacock.
Washed the taste out of my brain with an episode of The Trip to Greece. Fantastic.
Gamesblog: a bit of Skyrim. Revisited a previously-cleared tomb for a quest, and was subsequently killed by Forsworn bastards.
OTTM: no astrophotography last night, but I did get to process some shots from the previous night. Looking good!

It is PMs birthday in a couple of weeks, and over a couple of drinks I have been trying to find out what she really feels she needs.
I am now pondering whether buying her a funeral plan as a birthday present is a stroke of genius, or the most spectacular backfire ever.

Good morning.
Last night, next door neighbour’s son(who I’ve talked about before, I think. Although not sure on what platform and how much I’ve said) decided last night was a great time to sing loudly until 3, and tap on the walls.
It’s getting fucking ridiculous now, but as we’re looking to move next year, we’re trying not to escalate it so we don’t have to declare it.
Games - AC Odd. Completed the main story line, got the family back together. Now I need to finish my cultist hunting, then move onto the DLC. I’ve also taken down the Cyclops and the Minotaur. Was expecting them to be harder, but I guess when you have a cheaty bow that turns every arrow into a poison arrow, it makes it a bit easier.

Ottm: I don't understand what is happening in the Championship. I read that Derby, Birmingham and Sheff Wed might be docked points and could still be relegated. Is that correct?

Sheffield Wednesday and Derby are facing charges of failing to comply with Profitability and sustainability and could be docked up to 21 points. Both are as innocent as a minor royal in Woking Pizza Express. Blues were deducted 9 points last season. We were further charged with failing to comply with an agreed business plan (Basically we agreed to sell players in January 2019 and then couldn't find any buyers). This was only a fining offence anyway The hearing was in March and we were acquitted. The EFL appealed against this (4 days after lockdown began!) On appeal the acquittal was overturned and we were given a reprimand - I.E. not even a slap on the wrist fine. As I understand it the EFL is considering whether to delay points deductions for Derby and Wednesday until next season at the moment as they don't think that any appeals can be concluded in a timeframe to allow relegation to be altered. Also the disciplinary panels have not yet reported although both cases have been heard. Wigan's appeal is on 27 July. Fortunately we have Barnsley as insurance against that succeeding so we cannot go down. Unless we crash in to administration - which is extremely unlikely as the owners are desperate to keep the HKSE listing for the company. |
