I want all of that. I want to be able to go to a restaurant again.
Instead: bacon, egg, beans & potato rösti for dinner. With a South African pinotage. All good and well, but I'm missing out.
Low level irritation whilst crossing the animals. Tomorrow will be better.

I would have gone for a Bordeaux or Rioja myself. Had to try and match both dishes. Could have bought 2 different bottles I suppose. <edit>Didn't have to match the dishes, drink what you want, but there is something in the old "red for beef, white for fish & chicken" that is true, you don't want the wine to overpower the taste of the food. |

That's where you went wrong. Pick the wine first. Then pick two cheaper bottles. Then drink all three bottles on your own at home. Accompany with whatever edibles you happen to find in the fridge. |

Yeah, she sort of liked it, but mostly in a way that made it clear she was humouring me. I think we reached halfway through S3, so didn't see any of the really stand-out episodes, such as The Body, The Gentleman, Once More With Feeling, etc. Edit: I'm hoping after I force Blake's 7 on the 12y-o, he might think Buffy is relatively good, and encourage his Mother to watch it. |
