I still don't drive and have never taken a driving test.
My friend Irving Finkel (he of the wizard beard) failed his driving test when he ran into a police car. He still doesn't drive, either, but it makes for a good story.
Pref. Mam. passed his driving test first time in Munich in the late 70s. Until a few years ago he was still driving on the original, dark grey licence that is known in Germany as "the grey rag". Then he had to exchange it for a modern UK one because of a change in law. The new one makes car rental etc. a lot easier but also less interesting.
The old driving document (and yes, it is called a "Führerschein"*) had his Munich address (very useful several decades and countries later) and his place of birth: Pietermaritzburg, Great Britain. You can't expect German authorities to know geography.
*"der Führer war ein armes Schwein, er hatte keinen Führerschein"

I only care if the cab driver has passed their test.

Driving test boasting? First time. 30 years ago. No theory test.
I do have a photocard licence though. Because I am part of the modern world.

That was bad taste, but I'm not apologising. Shenguin said I didn't have to. ps. I had a dream about sheggers last night, it was dull. Who did dream-sheggers most resemble? A cross between Michael Gove and Chris Tarrant. Sheggers paid me £3 to iron a second-hand green Birthday card for him, to get the creases out. I need help, don't I?

I need help, don't I? Well yeah, you obviously need help getting a reasonable fee for ironing the creases out of birthday cards. He's taking the fucking piss at 3 sheets.

Driving test chat: first time, skived off school for the morning of the test. Stalled on the hill start, fucked up reversing round the corner, but the guy clearly could not give a fuck and passed me anyway. There was no parking test in those days, so it was only the next day, after driving into town on my own for the first time, that I realised I had no idea how to park the bastard.

I also passed my driving test. 20 years ago. It was uneventful.

I have a friend who took FIFTEEN practical driving tests. Fifteen.
This may surprise you, but he is not a good driver.

So, Sheffield Wednesday have been issued a 12 point deduction.
But from next season meaning they stay in the Championship at Charlton's expense.
I'm sure Charlton will have something to say about that.

I wasted a considerable amount of time trying to fix the Wifi. Turns out that "there is an issue with the broadband in your area and an engineer is working on it." Beardy Branson could have told me about this before he asked me to reset the the whole thing several times. Zero stars.
Also got a disgusting tasting tablet stuck in my throat. Another zero stars.
Hot dogs for lunch, nice, but they have an unfortunate tendency to repeat on me hours later. Used this as an excuse to put on my hotdog outfit in ACNH. Really not sure what's wrong with me.
Chicken, bacon and leek pasta bake for dinner.

28c here and I have lost a ball; fortunately I have another... Felice Landry brick buildings behave like giant heat reservoirs - bricks, cavities absorbing heat through out the day; during the night they release it back into the surrounds. It's why sleep is much sounder just about sunrise. 5.30 am 27c

Also, my bastard neighbours have pissed off to do some 'camping'. I expect they'll come back early today just to really fuck me off.
