Morning all,
Fallout 4 Getting waaay to invested in the settlement building. Also on breaking point over the perks I have chosen.
Each level up I spend a tedious amount of time getting down to a final 3 or 4 and then spend time bemoaning the ones I didn't choose.
Apart from that I'm having fun.

Morning all.
I slept... poorly.
Gamesblog: no.
TVblog: finished the Once Upon a Time in Iraq documentary. A sobering, terrifying overview of the broken country after the invasion in 2003. I've recommended it here before; I do so again. 5*
And a Community.
Amigablog: finished testing the D directory. Unfortunately, Desert Strike doesn't run at all at present. So far, out of 125 games tested, 20% currently do not run. Some troubleshooting is required.

Morning all, Fallout 4 Getting waaay to invested in the settlement building. Fallout 4 to a tee. Are you going for 100% happiness in one of the settlements? Tricky, that.

I don't think I'll achieve it. Nice to see that they haven't fixed the bug whereby all settlers are unassigned for no reason. I seem to have 60% happiness in most despite everyone having lots of food and everyone working.

I went to the high street earlier, a desolate and abandoned place. Shops stood empty whilst the occasional elderly person shuffled on in a trance and groups of homeless people dressed in rags huddled in door ways whilst sucking drug pipes.
Typical day in Sheffield basically.

They're never happy, scamander. Never. I like the settlements where you can build on top of an existing structure. Though there was one with a swimming pool that sat atop a hill, had defence turrets all over, and was surrounded by a massive wall. That did well.

There's a vault 88 in the DLC, to get to it you need to clear a camp of raiders who are trying to get in. You can only access using your pip boy to open the massive door. It acts like a settlement but for some reason can now be hit by raiding parties who spawn inside the front entrance. So much for the front door.

There's a guy been outside my house with a leaf-blower for about 45 minutes now.
Anyone know the best way to dispose of a body?

I've also now got a leaf-blower for sale. Looks to be in good nick. Couple of blood stains.

Hi.
Games: AC Odd. It's good, I like it. Still on Megaris, and struggling to make much headway on the main quests (level 9). However, it's enough fun doing the side quests that it doesn't seem like a chore. Having a bit of trouble remembering which of the headgear guys are Athenians and which are Spartans, but they all kill me pretty easily anyway. 4 stars.
Telly: Blacklist. I pretty much hate this now, but keep watching it because James Spader is entertaining. It feels like an abusive relationship now. 4 stars.
Ottm: got some sweet new running shoes yesterday. Can't wait to get out there and injure another new part of my body.

My attempts to get treatment for my broken tooth and resultant abscess are not successful so far... The doctor is urging me to take more morphine (a class A, schedule 2 drug) and "ride it out" rather than prescribe antibiotics Nor are there dentists currently available to undertake a home extraction. Even if there was, they wouldn't operate unless the swelling had gone down. But odds are because it's a broken tooth they would insist on it being done in surgery. Which would involve an ambulance. With my luck I'd get Steve Martin ...

scamanderYeah, I've got the DLC too. After spending much of the game building settlements, I didn't much fancy developing my own vault too. Maybe I'll return to it once Skyrim is done. Again.
