I do not mind the face masks too much.
They are nothing in comparison to wearing medical style latex gloves for hours.
I did not enjoy that at all. It is a pretty unpleasant experience.
It probably helps that I don't wear glasses. I understand the glasses/mask interface leads to steaming up on a regular basis.

I've just been to CEX to get a second hand phone after dropping the last one in the sink. I spent 15 minutes yelling at the guy behind the counter to speak up as we were all wearing masks and they had horrific loud music playing for some reason. This seems to definitively prove that I have finally turned into my dad. However, there was also a guy in there buying a massive box set of 'Two and a Half Men', so at least I was not bottom of the pile.

Nitrile gloves still make your hands sweat like Boris Johnson was just asked to give a straight answer to a simple question. Morning all, Apparently 'AntimalwareService Executable' is hogging the rig.This is apparently Windows Defender. I have Window 10, would it be as simple as disabling it and getting a free option of something or should I keep it on and try and find a solution? I never have problems with it, I may have done the "change schedule" thing in the past: How to fix ‘Antimalware Service Executable’ high CPU usage
<edit>This is out of date, my system is set to stop the full scan if PC ceases to be idle. Thanks, I'll see what I can do. Had to fire up Task Manager and noted how it was eating my rig from within. |

The officers response and actions were wrong, but I have to ask - why was Mr. Blake leaning into the vehicle, a weapon perhaps - (it was also reported that he had a history of domestic violence)

Listen to Pete Deates, the president of the Kenosha Professional Police Association: " The video currently circulating does not capture all the intricacies of a highly dynamic incident. We ask that you withhold from passing judgement until all the facts are known and released." So, if you saw a man who was entirely non-confrontational walking away from those police officers and being shot point blank into the back, then you should not believe your own lying eyes. If the whole thing wasn't so serious and tragic one could find the fact that the police officer tried tugging at the man's shirt before shooting him in the back almost comical. That's some escalation. Yesterday I read a blog post by the ACLU that lists a number of similar cases that show that police in Wisconsin have style in this matter. Good Morning Shenguin Fans! I played Fortnite and got frustrated. Sheep2 kept on not following my tactics, and as a result I kept dying, and he kept living to get second places. I don't see what the point is if he's not going to obey my orders regardless of how donkey-like they are. It's probably a good job we can't shoot each other in it, otherwise I would have gone all white policeman on his ass. |

You're right to try and give balance, but the guy in the video has no more information than we do. If it's so necessary to shoot miscreants departing the scene of a crime then it's astonishing that our own police don't shoot to kill in the same circumstances (that's irony)... FFS The guy could have been shot in the legs, or better still they knew where he lived and could have let him go and arranged a TAC or SWAT team to pick him up later. |
