I get it, America is a potentially dangerous place since they're all gun mad, but if you believe youre in danger from an unarmed man walking away from you because you think he's going for a gun, just tazing him should be the go to surely. Not just shooting him in the back in front of his kids.
And that counts regardless of what crimes you have served time for in the past. Once you've served your sentence, unless you are a danger to society, your time should be done, a clean slate to restart a life youve fucked up.

In relation to the car incident:
It was very clear to me that we did not have enough time to reach a place of safety on foot and that we had to travel through dangerous areas.
I acquired a car to do this. Shenguin refused to get in the car, Got shot at, trapped and died.
I drove car to a place of reasonable safety. I did not actually finish second in that game. Mostly because I had backtracked in initial attempt to rescue idiot.
There were other incidents of not taking a low risk approach to the question of 'shall we charge in to certain death or not?'
I am fairly confident one us was not completely pissed.

I checked my stats on Fortnite Tracker.
It is pretty clear that if I started a duos game by shooting Shenguin I would on average do significantly better.

edit: wrong in respect of poor training. just spotted a YT by Mike the Cop which sheds a little more light. only if you are interested... FFS The guy could have been shot in the legs, or better still they knew where he lived and could have let him go and arranged a TAC or SWAT team to pick him up later. Chumbles is right, and it's not often I get to say that.

You don't need 7 shots at close range to disable an assailant.

Hello
Today Mrs D and I took a train into that there London. A first trip on public transport in 5 - 6 months.
We walked around Leadenhall Market and then along the South Bank of the Thames. We ate lunch al fresco in a pub near the Golden Hind.
A pleasant afternoon. 4 stars.

If you have the time and the energy there are hundreds of videos showing police 'interactions' with the public. There are very good reasons why cops don't go for tazers first, mainly because crims don't go for tazers first. they go for lethal first.
