That's better.
Games! I have finally completed Microsoft Epic Download Simulator, or whatever it's called. It certainly lived up to it's name. What a battle.... The early section where you have to navigate all the options about how my system wasn't capable of running the game at max settings was OK, then things got really hard. I was forced into a blind alley whereby I had to provide valid XboxLIVE credentials, which being PC/PS3 only had me stumped for quite some time. Multiple reloads / running game as admin all failed to progress me and so I resolved the only course of action was to create myself an account.
Imagine my surprise when it told me that my email address was already registered as an account contact and couldn't be re-used!!!! Didn't see that plot twist coming. Turns out any plain old M$ account would do. Sheesh.
Having finally made some progress it was on towards the final boss battle. A true test of endurance of a lone player versus a 90Gb download bar. Man it was epic. I should have tried to stream it live but was too engrossed in the soundtrack of the same 2 chords... over.. and over... and over.
Finally. I defeated the download bar! I emerged victorious! The credits rolled...
Strangely they resembled some kind of flying tutorial... I was too knackered to look closely so shut it down and went to bed. Steam shows it only took 19 hours to complete. Strange game.

Apparently 'AntimalwareService Executable' is hogging the rig.This is apparently Windows Defender.
I have Window 10, would it be as simple as disabling it and getting a free option of something or should I keep it on and try and find a solution?

With regards to the school mask chat last night. One of the things that is going to happen is children are stigmatised/bullied for wearing them - not the other way round:
"Ha, mask wanker"
"wee poofy cunt is feart of catching covid" "
"Ahm not wearing that, canny make me"
Etc etc.
Or is that just West Central Scotland?
Games. More GTA story mode. Enjoying it but want it out the way so I can move on with the backlog.

10 years ago i worked in a job that required wearing a mask, often for up to 6 hours at a time. It was hot and sweaty and, as I'm massivley claustrophobic, psychologically uncomfortable.
And as for school, I can imagine there are a bunch of wee idiots that will make it difficult for everyone.
But...if you can advise your kids to wear one, please do so. There's this whole "oh kids are asymptomatic, so they'll be fine" thing going on, but that's wishful thinking. Its true that many, if not most, are, but it CAN still kill them.
I get it, they're at best a ball ache and at worst make you a target, but school isn't forever.
Jesus, if your adult life was defined by your school years I'd be a nervous, mentally shattered, lifeless turbo-nerd with bad hair, instead of the...oh.
Seriously though, its not worth NOT wearing one.

Children seem to get on fine with masks in Asia. This is the new normal (Christ, I hate that term already), and everyone has to learn and adapt.
Like vaccines, it's as much to protect those at risk as it is at protecting yourself.

I never have problems with it, I may have done the "change schedule" thing in the past: How to fix ‘Antimalware Service Executable’ high CPU usage

I enjoy masking up before entering a convenience store. Makes me feel like a real bad dude.
Games: Some BFBC2, shot down a helicopter (at range) with a tank turret mounted .50 cal, satisfying.

I’m playing Baldurs Gate.
I’m
Playing on Normal, you know, like a normal person, god, you don’t want to go wandering off a path, or even walk about at night. I spend most of my time reloading saves from before one of the team were killed.
I seem to recall the last time I played I got stuck in a sewer somewhere, unable to level up enough to get out. But I’m clearing this mine of Kobolds and having a jolly good time.
The game plays really well with a controller, lot of Shoulder button action and I miss the ability to mouse select characters. But it looks good on the big telly, a little blurry handheld,
Now, there’s a Ghoul down here with me somewhere, and I need to figure out how to kill it!
