2019. It was... a very good year...
Hello all.
TVblog: The Boys s2, ep 2.
Gamesblog: some Skyrim. Trying to weigh the benefits of going "legendary" on skills. Knocks said-skill down to 15, and allows one to redistribute skill points. And then you can start levelling your main level itself again. Hmm. Maybe not do it on something which is used for survival, like magicka skills? I could probably survive a drop in Enchantment or Alchemy, for instance.
Amigablog: more Team Yankee. Level four, and it's a bloody escort mission. I won the battle, but at the cost of two of my four units.
OTTM: last day of nursery for the boy. From Monday, he'll be at school!

Good Morning Covid Fans, and Happy Wiggling!
Clearer and tighter social distancing laws in England from Monday? I'm still going to need more friends if I'm going to flout the laws.

Hello. Last night I saw a massive spoder inching up the wall behind the telly, just as the guy on Watchmen was explaining about monstrous interdimensional invasions. I managed to scoop the beast into a large box but it immediately ran up the side and jumped to the floor and then under the sofa at about 40mph. No fucking way I am ever going back in that room.

Morning.
Games - Crusader Kings 3. Started a new game, playing the Sons of Lothbrok campaign and picked Bjorn Ironsides. So far my wife has been murdered by my son, and I’ve started several wars on the basis of my family being imprisoned by people. It’s a great game, so deep and compelling. Like my face.
Tv - finished the boys s1, watched the latest episode of Lovecraft country, started the boys s2. I’ll get round to BSG. At some point. Maybe.

I read that as 'flout the in-laws', no idea why.
Headphone update: Still done naff all.
Gameschat: After my victorious 0.23 KDR win yesterday, I played again. I went sniper hunting in the snow. I knew roughly where he was, but couldn't find him (it was dark). Then..'CRACK' as he fired a shot. I looked to the left and there he was hiding in some bushes 5ft away. So I stabbed him in the back of the head and nicked his dog-tags. Fun times.
TV: Who wants to be an over-cocky loser.

No matter how clearly it's explaibed to me I still don't understand Legendary Skills. I also read that armour rating is capped at 542, so anything which pushes this higher doesn't make a difference.

Games
Fortnite One second. The rest a bit rubbish.
Kingdoms Of Amular Re-Reckoning I think i might restart it while I'm only a little way in. I need to play on hard I think. Apart from anything else after a couple of hours I haven't yet died. Is it any good? Well the answer to that is if you liked it back in 2012 (0r 2013 when I played it) it is still the same excellent game. If you didn't like it then it has not changed significantly. It is still a pretty good 70 hour RPG.
It comes with the old DLC and will have some new DLC.

It's really good of the virus to wait until Monday. One last weekend to socialize while it holds off. They have made it very difficult for you to flout the underage drinking laws in the last few decades as well.

In fairness it's all about quality. I've posted fewer times and much lower quality.

Do you like coffee?
I'm not really a 'coffee buff', but I've recently found this great coffee. It's incredible coffee - smooth, rich ...
You've go to taste this coffee.
Kenya Peaberry. A sensation.

I also read that armour rating is capped at 542, so anything which pushes this higher doesn't make a difference. My main issue currently is really-slow levelling of the character. Mainly because the primary skills I use (Destruction, Alteration) are already maxed. If I make some of those 100-level skills Legendary, then their levelling will once again contribute to my main skill levelling... Armour is not really a problem for me - I use the Ebonyflesh Alteration spell.

Can't resist blacking up, even in a computer game.

I've got Skyrim on the Playsation VR. It's odd. Its like wondering around a Lake District that's populated by mannequins.
