Though Simply Games, John Lewis, Argos and a few other stores may be selling it tomorrow.
Also I think Amazon, Game etc have only sold guaranteed stock so far. So they may well get extra stock in.
Or you can try a scalper on EBay.

Definitely it's not the case that Sony have estimated reasonably accurately the demand for the machine, and then made sure there is definitely a shortage of them at first to increase interest and people's desire for one.

You are absolutely right. There are approximately 6m PS5s available worldwide this year I think. Possibly up to 10m. The lowest selling PlayStation the PS3 sold 87m. The PSX 102m, the PS4 110m and the PS2 155m. A lot of these won't have been at full price, but it is unlikely manufacturing will catch up with demand until next Summer at the earliest. The Xbox is unlikely to be in quite such a healthy situation, but it will do ok. The console market is pretty healthy. |

He has to tell himself he has not fallen for the hype rather than that he isn't allowed to buy a PS5.
