Currently engaged in game of cat and mouse with a recruiter, for a job I don’t want, but am too much of a coward to say outright. Recruiters aren't real people. You don't have to humanise them. Just a simple "shove the job, you cunt" delivered via email, text, voicemail, over the phone, and face to face, should be sufficient Just don't return their calls or emails. Completely ghost them. Last band I saw was First Aid Kit at Brixton in November 2018, I did have tickets to see The Regrettes in March 2020 but something happened to get that gig cancelled. I didn't realise the birth of my second child would have these kind of consequences. |

I bought a sea monkeys set for each child. I remember being really excited about receiving one when I was younger and being devastated with how shit they were. It's important my kids go through that. They're expecting a magic underwater kingdom with mermaids etc...what they will get (if the bloody things hatch) is a few tiny, shit shrimp swimming around.
I also watched the South Park episode on sea monkeys, it's a great episode.
