I was an impoverished student living in a tiny room in a house opposite a church. As a student I had a variety of accommodations and they were all situated opposite churches. I know exactly when they start ringing the bells on a Sunday morning (hint: too early). I'm not turning the clock back to that.
Today I have defluffed the Pref.Mam. (adjusted Fluff Factor to -200 on beard and leftover hair). He now resembles a regular human being, but getting there was hard work.
The return of the stolen hour has been very welcome.
Hot dogs for lunch, roast chicken for dinner.

29/8/1997 - Summer holidays, stuck in the middle of nowhere with no other youts and no pubic transport. The golden age of drum and bass. Most likely I was spinning some vinyl, sneaking shots of the parents spirits and listening to the beastie boys.

Popped out in the car earlier for some, erm, essentials (booze).
Put the radio on to sing along to my fave station to drive to, Smooth FM. It's the best. The DAB channels had been fiddled with by the previous user, so I had to manually keep clicking forward to find it.
And then IT happened. The next channel was... Heart Xmas.
AAARRRRGGGGHHHHHHH.
AAAAAAAAAAAAARRRRRRRRRGGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHH.
