Morning all. As posted in yesterday's box, last night I watched Tumbbad, a 2018 Hindi horror film based on Indian mythology. It's on Amazon Prime Video so iff Jeff already has your coin I recommend it. I enjoyed it very much. 4 stars. And yes, Ozymandias Kane , it has English subtitles. |

Hullo. Games: Forza6, been test-driving a Tesla model S. Not that anyone on here is interested in 'leccy cars. Here's my review:- Powertrain: Impressive. Brakes: Well shit. Handling: Well brown.
It's a thing of beauty as you silently fly down a straight and then a tearing of tyres coupled with the inevitable head-on smash into the armco. Poetry in motion.
I liked it. A lot. |

Morning.
Yesterday evening I had a phone call from my brother to tell me that my mother had a fall and is now in hospital. We had both been worried that such a thing might happen; fortunately a neighbour noticed that something was wrong, found her in her secret lair and called an ambulance. Ambulance crew didn't think she'd broken anything, but the problem now is that it's difficult to get information from the hospital because of patient confidentiality and COVID visiting restrictions.
The hospital is a good place for her to be as she will have a much needed checkup. Everyone is also hoping that while she's there she's going to get an equally needed hip replacement that so far she's stubbornly refused. I can only assume that her dodgy hip holds the key to her superpowers and that doctors and hip replacements are her kryptonite.

If it weren't for clients, HMRC and software companies it would really be quite an ok job.
At the moment I am very much cursing a popular pension provider for having a website shittier than Coprophiliacs Today.

I have hopefully rearranged delivery to the local offie at some point.
I am hopeful I won't have to buy vast amounts of beer there as I did that very recently and still have most of it.

Sorry to hear about your mum. Has she been told by the doctors to get the hip done? Or is it just obviously the problem? It's not a great time to get operations.
It is an operation with a longish recovery time as well. I can understand why she might be resistant.

Still, I did alright compared to some - one woman walked away with a 13 and a 12. Ouch!
