Bossman has been in touch to say that as we have no Christmas works do this year, he's off to the Adnams brewery to blow the corporate budget on beer. He's a good man, and thorough.
For a company that doesn't allow alcohol on site, it's going to be odd rocking up for the first time since March specifically to collect a few cases of ale.

Morning, wet and on the mild side here.
Telly: Mortal Engines which I thought was OK, although the last half hour seemed to be a bit of star wars rip off.
Games: A brief bit of Skyrim. I think I am going to role play my character as a strict and devout Talos priest who is filled with a murderous rage whenever he sees scantily clad women.
OTTM: Christmans is creeping up me.

Sound quality is important to me, specifically on the cans. I'd also like to know what SD & HD piccys look like on a 4K.
I might be persuaded to buy a 43" jobby, dependent on a Destry review. Let's face it, I bought a Jumper on your recommendation and I'm very happy with that. |

TV is fine. Set up was straightforward, but it took ages downloading software updates. I was a bit worried when I couldn't access the Home menu to get to the settings. Switching it off and on again, followed by the system updating the remote control (? who knew?) solved it. I can now legitimately talk to the TV.

MrTiddles Strong specs for the price mean that the JVC Fire Edition TV offers tremendous value for money, especially on the 49in model - the sweet spot for specs, size, and price. The only real disappointment is that the software side has its limitations - it’s better than most TV software by miles, but the cluttered interface and laggy performance hold it back from perfection. Still, what other TV comes with built-in Alexa? Not my words, the words of TechAdvisor. Can't really comment on the sound. It seems a bit light like most flat screens, but I'm playing it through a Roth soundbar via Optical Out which is pretty good. Watched her play `Among Us` last night. Her favourite youtuber had been playing it.
Folk just immediately calling meetings to pick folk in order to win and not actually play the game.
Folk leaving as well as they were obviously not picked as the imposter.
People are the worst.
I played a bit of Ghost Recon with my pal - the Unidad forces kicked our arse.
Later I watched the first episode of Tehran on Apple TV+. Seems decent.
