Hello, To people still own CD's? I have about 300 in boxes in a cupboard. I doubt I've listened to any of them for about 6 or 7 years. I'm not sure I even have the means to play them. I think there may be a CD player in the car, and I assume the PS4 can probably play them. I should probably get rid, but can't bring myself to do it. I must be getting sentimental in my old age. Rip them. Stick number labels on them at £2.99 for 1-500; Create and keep a spreadsheet list. Store them in a Neo Media 1 X 500 Capacity CD DVD Ring Binder Wallet Nylon Storage Carry Case at £18.99... It takes time, but it's addictive - allow expansion room. |

I think I probably ripped most of them a few years ago. I do mainly just listen to stuff on Spotify nowadays.
Maybe I should become one of these vinyl wankers.

A lovely walk in a light snow shower. Bought Pork and tomato sausages, welsh dragon sausages and some beef mince (oooh mince). Take that, Greta!
Watched a bit of saints v gunners. Ahh, the magic of the cup.
I wonder if the cyberpunk update will make it playable on ps5 /Xbox x.

Felice Landry The industry model of the artists taking the income hit by allowing streaming (vis SpottyFie et al where the streamer takes the majority of the cash) to provide ads for tours where the musicians, the roadies, technicians can actually get money to live off is fucked. It's always been unfair, but the venues, the entire structure of touring and gigs which you say you love so much, is withering ... I buy CDs partly because I like a physical copy, but primarily to support the artists. It's why I buy through bandcamp, or donate. It's up to your own conscience, but if I listen to something more than three times I look to buy or find another way to support the artists. I'm not saying everyone should or can do this. Bollocks to this - it's taking up valuable game playing time!

If you ripped them to a windows media player on your PC there's a high chance that they won't play because of the windows 10 setup. (Edge and groove) |
