Mushrooms definitely have a place in a spag bol.
I watched the new Wonder Woman film, it's alright but they re- used the score from Sunshine which angered me. 28 Days Later did this too, also pissing me off.

Sunshine was made in 2007
I have no idea how the former copied the latter. Clever trick though.

I used my MINCE from yesterday's butchers trip to make a chilli today. It seems it was fitting, what with today's chat.
MINCE
2 X onion
2 x celery sticks
2 x carrots
2 x tins of toms
Full bulb of garlic, chopped
2 x tbsp tom puree
Heaped tsp cumin
2 x tsp hot chilli powder
Tin chick peas
Tin black eye beans
Beef oxo cube
S & P
Yummers!
Loads left.

Honestly.
It's great with turkey mince.
Takes on the flavours really well. If you use the lowest fat one can get a bit clumpy at the browning but I do that in a frying pan while the onion (2) and carrot (4 of) soften in the casserole dish. Use a ham/chicken stock combo.
