Had my first acid at the Elephant Fayre sometime in the mid 80s. YES blotters. Got chased by an angry groundsman for hunting tigers in a huge clump of pampas grass, and may have interrupted a random couple having a shag in the dragons tail. I would like to amend the article though to say that IMO magic mushrooms are the best value for money, and way more fun than acid. I disagree about magic mushrooms. Again, though, I think it's more to do with your mindset and environment when taking them. The second time I took magic mushrooms I took maybe too many. The next morning I woke up to find my thoughts had gone. That's how it felt. And things didn't seem to fit together properly for a long time after that. It was like how the 'Chief' in One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest describes electric shock treatment. Someone pulls a lever on the one-armed bandit of your mind and when the fruit falls it no longer quite lines up.

LSD chat. All fun and games until you take too much or if you shouldn't have taken it in the first place.
Can be a wonderfully ego smashing experience with friends. Laughing at the wallpaper, listening to music. Chatting. Dancing in a club or at a party, on the beach, camping etc.
If you've a history of mental illness, depression or issues then best avoided.
Told the story before about my best friend's mum having a wasps head and chatting to her in the kitchen. Not sure if I was whispering or shouting at the top of my voice. That was the end of my fun times on it.

Lunch was Pita bread stuffed with houmous, falafel, orange pepper, tomato, cucumber.
No research chemicals. Which is apparently what you'll get buying "LSD" on the dark web unlike other drugs that tend to be of better quality.

I think I'm having a bad trip at the moment. It's been going on for a while now. Some bad shit about a virus and self-harm politics and step-kids not going to school and Pearls cartoons getting repeated.

I do wonder sometimes if turning my brain to mush in my younger days was a good idea. On balance I think it probably was.

Currently watching the "Best Kpop of 2020" on YouTube, they're all rather jolly, I've noticed certain themes and some of the groups are huge. 4* The ones I've seen have huge view counts for tiny people drilled to dance like marionettes in perfect unison; and you're right - the music is unrelentingly cheerful. 3*

Lunchblog: ham and chicken and cream-cheese sandwich. All the protein.
Homelearningblog: I’ve just assisted my son in working on a “play project”. While his teacher’s idea for it was to make a pizza, and build a pizza-oven, the boy decided a rescue-submarine and sunken-ship was more to his liking. Said submarine doesn’t travel in the direction which he* built it.

A submarine is just a boat that doesn't float.
I should have been doing PR for White Star Lines

I'm glad we can speak freely.
I just had lunch. It was modest ... Two oat crackers with a yeast-based vegan pate. Also some grapes ... and a non-decript piece of citrus fruit from Sainsbury's.

Was the vegan yeast spread in an orange plastic wrapper in a sausage shape? I used to really like that one, but can't get it now I live outside of the economically developed world.
I had a vegan sausage sandwich for lunch. Little Willies, made by the Vegetarian Butcher. The vegetarian Butcher stuff are the most satisfying meat-free sausages and burgers I have tried. I suppose the sausages weren't very vegan after I had fried them in butter, and put them between two slices of buttered bread.

Boris worried about "risk of ‘premature relaxation' "
Well, we've all been there. What? Oh, just me then.

Surely premature relaxation is largely risk free, if disappointing.

It was. I would have liked to have known if it was clementine or satsuma though. Possibly the result of an unholy splicing of the two.
