I watched Salò, once, which was apparently based on 100 Days of Sodom. It wasn’t for me. I wouldn’t have sought it out but someone I worked with lent it to me. He said I had to see it.

I have been looking at new GPUs and I found a 3080 for €700 at the weekend but talked myself out of getting one as that seemed a lot to spend on a GPU. That one then sold out right away and now all the 3080 I find are €1,500 plus. I won't hesitate next time I find a €700 one.
It seems like a crazy time to buy PC parts.

The 30xx GPUs are in ridiculous short supply, that's why I won't be getting my new PC until later in the year. |

It used to just have coins, emptied out from my pocket. Now it has Euros ... Because I have nowhere else to spend them.

We have a jar for coppers, a toad shaped thing and a silver tin for silver coins.
When I first met PM I had several large jars full of coppers and 5p and 10p, she relished going through it all and bagging it up for the bank. There was about £80 there in total.
I then started using her two jars but the money kept disappearing as PM raided it too often, so I don't bother any more and use them at the self-service till.

I made another curry - a 'curry' with the master-sauce yesterday. It was ok. It resulted in a thick, bhuna-like gravy. It was similar to a take-away curry but I think ... on balance ... I prefer the curries detailed by Madhur Jaffrey. Madhur Jaffrey knows what she's talking about.
