Morning.
Wet and windy here too. Wondering if the contractors doing the road outside my house will actually turn up today?
Turned up on Monday, planed the road a bit, dumped some gravel, fucked off and haven’t been seen since.

Morning all,
Division2chat. Nabbed the drone and it runs very nicely along with the assault turret.
Pierschat. Just to add that Private Eye recounted a while back how he used to do a bit on hacking celeb phones in his after-dinner speeches. Then the whole hacking thing was revealed and he dropped the segment and denied ever having done it.
Meganchat. The saddest thing is that you are asked to pick a side. As if you can only accept all of one view. As an amateur historian this chides. It's possible both sides are right and wrong.

Kudos to the 'boxers that found Hi Vis vests and then dumped a tonne of rubbish outside Scubar's house.
Weather: Windy and rainy here too.
No games.
Telly: Most of the way through Coming 2 America. So far there have been 3 scenes where Eddie Murphy is in America.

Remind me mensch, why did scubar buy a house in a building site? I'm exercising my silver surfing rights and going back to sleep.

hi
I played PUBG last night. There is no prize for 34th place. I got to 11th place in one game but was disappointed. I had been under a bridge, like a troll. I believed I could stay there and wait it out while everyone else battled it out on the road above. Not so. I was discovered and killed with my face down in the dirt.
I also watched Ben Fogle in Chernobyl, and Masterchef. Who is the Master chef?

Hello.
Games? Watched a member of my family play Fenyx Immortal. It is a nice game to watch. Looks like it's probably fun to play too, but it's not Apex Legends so I probably never will.
Telly? Wellington Paranormal, which is basically a sort of What We Do in the Shadows spinoff. It is hilarious.
Ottm? General ennui.

Wet n windy here. V strong winds forecast for tonight, might have to secure the kids trampoline. Or not and hope it blows away Wizard of Oz style so I get some more garden.
Hi
I've just got up. Work is slow. I am therefore planning to do some life admin and/or play fallout 4 on my ps4 (which is hooked up on my work desk). I bought FO4 in a Game pre-owned deal (4 for £20) a year or so ago but not really played it.
OTTM, 33 days til the pub opens.

Morning champs.
Gamesblog: -
TVblog: Arrested Development. Internet went weird, so Netflix jumped one episode ahead. Bit odd. TNG later, “Masks”.
Amigablog: some tinkering.
Weatherblog: windy, but not wet.

I have this urge to re-read the first 6 books of "The Chronicles of Thomas Covenant", the later* ones were rubbish, well the first 2 books were, I gave up after them.
*"The Last Chronicles of Thomas Covenant".

I'm hoping that today I'm able to take delivery of a bottle of vegetarian oyster sauce. Although ... I have read a few articles that say, if you are a vegan or vegetarian, you could eat oysters, or any bivalve, because they inhabit a hinterland between the plant and the animal.
I don't buy it. Though I will temporarily entertain the belief system if ransacking a stainless steel bucket of mussels.

Good afternoon.
Just off the work WebEx meeting. C&C and public pc use to restart from 6th April. So possibly back one day a week after that. Will see.
TV. The Crown. Ha. Chuck really is a fucking fanny. He should have married CPB and let Andrew be next in line. Oh.
Games. Couple of games of Apex legends. Did ok and was let down by my teams. I may be glossing over what really happened.

When the queen dies the monarchy will collapse. Its a personality cult. The last ravens will fly away. Piers Morgan will gnash his teeth.

Clearly they fall into the animal kingdom is terms of biological classification, but in terms of moral classification, it's easy to see that they could be outside the group of things a vegetarian couldn't morally justify killing for food. The more pertinent question would be "Yuck. Why would you want to?"

Bi-valves I don't think you should kill and eat anything just because of its sexual preferences.

I’ve been playing Donkey Kong Tropical Freeze.
Wow. Think this may be the best platformer I’ve played. It’s a bit more forgiving than Mario, the graphics are larger and more fun and the difficulty and the design of the levels is amazing.
I’ve managed to get to level four, but have all the KONG and puzzle pieces from the previous levels - except the K levels.
It’s got that ‘just one more go’ about it, the opportunity to replay the levels to get all the pieces - but then the real game opens up - the timed runs for each level - I’m not sure how I’m ever going to be able to get gold on any of those levels, managed bronze on the first few levels of level 1 - but I’m going to have to come back to this when I’ve git gud
Work. I’m out of the house today - have to pick up a new works phone. It still feels like a bank holiday Sunday in central London.

The idea of eating oysters alive is a bit unsettling. Monstrous. I've read that they flinch when you squeeze lemon juice on them. I have not witnessed this myself.
In any case I think plants flinch and react to stimulus also. What to do?
Jainism and windfall fruitarianism seem pretty harsh paths to follow.

In any case, with my Yuen Chun vegetarian oyster sauce I will be free from such moral quandaries.
I hope it does come today.
