I didn’t get on with MHW. You’re hunting deadly monsters, why are they making it as twee as possible? Maybe it’s a JRPG thing. You’re hunting monsters, it should be all bare chested burly men in tight leather trousers. This plus my character was left handed. That really fucked with my mind. All my attacking and defending was slightly off and from a different angle from what I wanted. I'm pleased they represented disabled characters, but I think that has to be a choice.

scamander the optimization stuff is good. Slightly confusing but there are lots of yt videos and it's not afaik changed so they should be up to date. You can really spend a long time tweaking stuff, moving things from other guns etc. Here's one. youtu.be/BgGx0EO1EWM

'Old Boy' has passed away. He was my friend. Sorry to hear that Tiddles. Was it related to the incident over the weekend?

So sorry.

Tues lunch club news: Today I brought Caponata, I followed a Guardian recipe and added tips from the comment section below to jouj it up a bit. Everybody agreed it was edible and even quite tasty so another successful week is behind me. MHW, I really enjoyed until you sort of complete it but then the second part starts and I just couldnt be bothered anymore. But I remember being quite into it for a while. Never got the hang of multiplayer stuff though.

It sucks.
I've been grilled by detectives at some length, they're treating the death as suspicious (no shit). They will need a formal interview from me in the future.
Gameschat. I completed Doom3 earlier *puffs chest out* on Marine skill level. Now for the add-on levels.

Bad times. As Crankcaller said it's almost certainly related to what happened at the weekend.

I'm not having a good day.
Last night after dinner I noticed that I was feeling dizzy. I had been planning to finally play some Monster Hunter, but under the circumstances I didn't feel like zipping around the scenery with wirebugs, or tearing around the countryside on a palamute. I get the occasional spell of motion sickness when gaming, so I didn't want to push my luck. I thought that the dizziness was probably due to the lack of sleep and went to bed.
This morning I woke up, started moving and realised that the vertigo was still there. I somehow made it to the bathroom and the shower and had breakfast. I looked up the NHS advice on dizziness and vertigo and it recommends lying down in a darkened room. Great. Just what I needed on a sunny spring day.
I didn't follow the advice and am feeling a bit better now.
Yesterday I ordered an eco-friendly stapler with a packet of staples from (no longer)Jeff. Tried it for the first time on the 4 page letter Matt (signed: "Matt") Hancock and Robert Jenrick sent me to tell me that from now on I no longer need to be shielding but I should better stay at home if possible, just to be on the safe side. Admittedly Matt and Bob were using impressively thick and heavy paper to reassure the taxpayer that they are paying for a quality government with quality stationery. Still, the eco-staple got mangled and had to be removed. I tried stapling a single sheet of paper and succeeded on the second try. Now the stapler is completely jammed and I can't open it anymore.
(No longer)Jeff gave me a refund and I've ordered a Rexel.
Cool story, etc.

Did they polygraph you? Breathe calmly and deeply. You should hold a pin and prick your finger during a few innocuous questions. The machine registers stress, so if you can mess your stress response up you'll be free and clear.

Feeling dizzy
The most likely cause is drunkenness. The cure is to stop drinking
Possibly it is lack of drink. In which case you need a drink
The third possibility is an ear infection. I expect strong drink could resolve this.

Just watched Impossible. One of the questions was 'how many squares on a chess board?'. The answer given was 64, which they said was correct.
However the correct answer is 204...
Brexit now!

It's possible you have all sorts of other nasty things (stroke, heart attack, brain haemorrhage, covid, digestive parasites) in which case you might as well give up and just have a drink.

2021 is a year of looking forward, into the future. There's no need to look into the past, and linger on what has gone. Hindsight is so 2020.
