Although I felt invigorated by my first visit to a pub a few days ago, on balance I'd rather move to a fortified tower, thousands of miles away, with incredible challenges to be surmounted by the would-be hugger.

I have a few pairs of cords. There is only one pair I like at the moment. These grey ones I'm wearing bring out the grey in my hair so I'm not 100 percent keen.

I won't be wearing cords as I am not a 1980s Geography teacher.
Lazy/Crank - do you ever go FULL corduroy? As in cord trousers worn with cord jacket/blazer? Maybe a cord tie? All different shades of brown.

I've nearly bought a cord (denim cut) jaiket with the fur lining a couple of times but never gone through with it. I also have a couple of cord shirts but I've avoided wearing those with cords.

Unfortunately not.
I don't have any matching tracksuits. Several pairs of jogging trousers, a couple of tracky tops - but no sets. No tracksuit bottoms - they've all got knitted cuffs. Or whatever the equivalent of cuffs is at the bottom of a pair of joggies.

Morning! Nasty shower here in Birmingham after the mayoral election, and the weather isn't great, either. Lots of gaming yesterday, if you can call running up and down a huge tree, trying to locate adorable little puffballs and squeeze every last bit of dialogue out of them "gaming". I just love Xenoblade Chronicles. On topic:  (of course there's a side quest involved) Also more ACNH (buying neeps, natch) and what looks to be the penultimate streaming session of Trails in the Sky. OTTM: Last week there's been a bad outbreak of Covid involving several families in a building with flats near my mum's. Unfortunately her friend who does the shopping for her lives in that house. Fortunately she and her husband have now tested negative. At least there's finally progress for the German vaccination programme and GPs are now getting vaccine supplies, which is the only way for my housebound mother to get the jab. However, her useless GP is only today returning from his holiday. He's on holiday more often than not. Hopefully this outbreak will prompt them to take the initiative - because of her age my mother should have been inoculated months ago. |

Cords aren’t for me.
My 20s seemed to be cargo-trousers only. Then, as I hit my 30s, I branched out into “jeans” - you might have heard of them? Made from blue-denim.

I have not owned any corduroys since junior school. I currently own one pair of tracky bottoms which I wear for weightlifting. As a teenager I owned some Adidas tracky bottoms with buttons going up the entirety of both legs.

My brother has been wearing nothing but corduroy trousers for as long as needed to wear trousers. He's entirely immune to the vagaries of fashion and wouldn't be seen dead in track suit bottoms or even a pair of jeans.
I stopped wearing corduroy trousers when I was about eleven.
I like the corduroy items in Animal Crossing. The differently coloured corduroy skirts are some of my most worn pieces of clothing.

I’m not feeling at all stylish today.
Big ‘James May’ mullet. Grey cords… The top half of an emergency bought Morrisons T-Shirt and short set.
I’ve just taken delivery of a Dennis the Menace style jumper. It’s not Beano branded. I may purchase a black pair of corduroy trousers to match.
