Recoil back to hell!

But are you comfortable, Lazy? I've had a people recoil in horror at finding out I wear slippers. Let them recoil I say I am not. I feel like a bum, a schlub, a waste-man.

This is how I imagine Crankcaller to look. Only with fewer teeth as he's Scottish.

I have special walking trousers for when I want to walk up mountains and camp on them. Other than that, I wear jeans, or sometimes a suit. I have a fine collection of suits, including two corduroy ones, one dark blue, one olivey-browny-green. I look fabulous in them.

To the best of my knowledge you have ever been a geography teacher

I can't recall ever seeing a Geography teacher wearing corduroy. It's the Berghaus fleece that denotes a geography teacher, to my mind.

And I guess, yes, perhaps some special mountain walking trousers.

My history teacher also taught geography. He always wore corduroy trousers & jacket.

This is how I imagine Crankcaller to look. I'm much more slender (despite the middle age gut) and I have hair. So in conclusion, fuck you. Thanks for attending my Ted talk.

A brown corduroy jacket with faux-leather elbow patches, that is my dream.

Also, I keep seeing adverts for 'Cruising with Jane McDonald'. I've got my hopes up, but fear I will be let down again.

Alas, no. Mine was at Crystal Palace football ground so I'm guessing the equivalent would be a 100yr season ticket and a tour of the treatment room. I would have declined both. I did, however, receive a second sticker.

I did, however, receive a second sticker. That's a horrific punishment. I'm pretty sure at Nuremburg they ruled heavily against giving out Crystal Palace tickets.

I had a few corduroy sheepskin jackets.
Tough.
Tough discipline, wearing those jackets.

I've got only one pair of cords (beigey-green) which I treasure because it's very difficult to find a stylish cord for someone of my grotesque proportions. Jeans are much easier to source. I have never owned a pair of mountaineering/cargo trousers because I am not a geography teacher or a member of a late-90s stadium nu-metal band.

As far as I can recall I have never owned or worn any cords. I'm a strictly jeans guy, apart from a couple of years in the late 90's / early 00's where I had some cargo trousers, or 'combats' as they seemed to be called. They were great, as the extra pockets were ideal storage for a minidisc player and pack of 20 Bensons.
