A foetid, muggy night. I was accused of ‘snoring’ so flounced out of the bedroom to sleep on the sofa.
I went back in eventually. Gesture politics.
I woke up this morning thinking of the lyrics to the song ‘Scrub’.

We watched two episodes of ‘Peaky Blinders’ last night. Netflix essentially ambushed us with the second episode. It’s crazy - the small window of time it gives you to stop. You can’t even enjoy the credits.

A man who would rather stay in than go out.
Put aside the issue of disposable income…
Imagine growing up with the anti-scrub as ideal. No wonder young men have mental health problems.

TotalWarhammer2Chat.
Thanks for the tip on 'lightning strike'. I managed to expand a bit more and now have the two southern regions. Vamps and High Elves are scrapping for a spot which changes hands every 2 minutes.
Vampire corruption is tedious. Ingenious but tedious. Lots of mechanics which are very good but take some learning.
One question is what to do with the other Lizard factions. Currently allied to one and on good terms with another. Do I attack these or can I unite them?

I think you can confederate Lizardmen, but not sure. Probably best to just ally with them for now. Lightning Strike just makes things so much easier. Bunch of lads all grouped together? Take them on one by one, job done. A trait to look out for with lizardmen generals and heroes is “Pompous” which reduces enemy leadership by 4. It also stacks, so you can have a whole army of heroes with that trait, send them in to battle and the enemy just runs away. |

Just checked and apparently Lizardmen just won’t confederate, unless they’re extremely positive about you. So time to start schmoozing. TVblog: finished the fourth series of Babylon 5. So good.
Such a shame, though, that they had to squeeze so much into the series, as they thought they were being axed… makes it all a bit of a rush, and not the kind that crank gets from his happy pills, or I get when standing up from the sofa.
Also watched the professional Bake Off thing. Tom Allen, what is the point of him? Obnoxious little fellow.

Thanks for the tips. It feels as if wherever I expand to I will be hit on the other side. The 'not favourable' aspect of a settlement type is annoying but very good. Got dwarves to the left and thinking that's the logical place to expand to.

All this Total Warhammer chat gave me the hankering. So I played TW Shogun 2 instead. The Fall Of The Samurai campaign. Love a good line infantry simulator. Firing 3 shots a minute until the other guy runs away.
Also naval bombardment.

Some solo wins in the new season.
No duos wins.
We reached the las 2 several times, but each time Shengers charged in to battle and died immediately. So I was left 1v2. Three times I managed to kill 1 and turn it in to a 1v1 battle, but I'd lost health in the first fight. The other time I had not lost health, but lost the final 1 v1.
