This is bait, crankcaller, do not take it! I just find it odd that it’s allowed for one sort of sports but not another, even that it is done in the first place. But then I’ve never really got the whole “sports” thing. Football, in particular, has absolutely no draw for me. Despite me knowing all the football. Arsenal fan? |

Belgium spent 16 years without qualifying for a European tournament and are now ranked number 1 in the world.
Scotland have spent 23 years trying to qualify....
I think the logic speaks for itself.

The only question I have about Andy Robertson being the Captain is that he plays at the left back. I mean I know he tears up and down the left wing but ... what if he wants to bark out some captainly words for someone playing on the right, or up at the front? He simply pops it in an email the day before. It takes Big Dykesy that long to change direction anyway. |

Morning! I shall be in position at the pub from 12.30. My boy is also getting to watch the game at school. I have McGinn, Robertson and Nisbet in my fantasy football team, hope they are all playing. Im not full of confidence after seeing what we had to offer against Luxembourg, but I'm willing to get drunk enough to fake it. Games: Tried Elder scrolls online, not sure if I like it. OTTM Huge shout out to Robbie Savage for reminding me about England getting put out of Euro 2016 by Iceland, I had completely forgotten about that. Nisbet looked class against the Dutch. Hope he gets on the pitch today. |

I remember going to see my pal at Hull uni during what may have been italia 90 or even just the FA cup final. All his flatmates and a few others were there and the camera cut to Bobby Moore in the stadium. Totally forgetting my surroundings I blurted out "Is that old cunt still alive...?"
Tumbleweed moment and me having to apologise to the growlers in the room.

As I was 21 at the time then yes he was an "old" person. The same way I would expect a 21 yr old nowadays think I was old.

In the course of my life I have witnessed 3 Scottish victories at a tournament. These are:
1990 Scotland 2 Sweden 1
1992 Scotland 3 CIS 0
1996 Scotland 1 Switzerland 0
That was a decent CIS side in 1992, they drew with Holland and Germany before this game. I remember the Swedes and Switzerland were pretty poor back then.
The only other victory in my lifetime was the 5:2 win over New Zealand in 1982 when I was 1 year old, and I had better things to do back then.
