Apparently the Tarahumara people of Mexico run vast distances wearing very basic footwear, so I’ve been wearing very basic footwear. I think the idea is that, without the cushioning, you are forced to run on the fronts of your feet and so absorb the impact in the arches of your feet and your calves, rather than have it transferred to your knees. I accept the idea. I buy into it wholeheartedly.  Each tootsie has its own little home with these. I had a pair of shoes from them years ago. |

Morning all! I've been back on the hot new release Octopath Traveller, presumably a sequel to the much talked about Octopus Travelodge. Sorted out some belle end who stole a tome or something. Apparently the merchant is the best choice, and it turns out I chose the merchant as the main character. Just picked up a wizard or something. I'm also thinking about starting Fire Emblem over as I chose to play it on Classic and at some point the babysitting of your squad at pain of having to do the entire battle over again became moribund. As far as I can tell it isn't possible to switch to casual mode halfway through so its back to basics. Monster Hunter Sorties 2 is top banana, so likely adding that to the back lodge too. Did you watch the match? |

The BBC news story is that the government are suggesting Covid restrictions could lift within the the next few weeks.
What the Hell? I thought the restrictions were due to lift last month, then it was news that the lifting was being put back to the 19th of July.
How is it ‘news’ that restrictions might lift later this month?
It’s just that … It’s as if it’s the old news wasn’t news.
What the Hell?!

I watched Tomorrow's War. It was alright, kind of a cross between Starship Troopers and Alien.
The aliens themselves lacked originality though, but have all the cool aliens been done already?
