Morning all,
Next season is going to be far less dramatic. After all, it was the ref's decision and something something VAR so it's just a penalty and that's that.
I can see this being the response of Prem fans when a penalty is given against them. They will absolutely agree with it.

Kid 1 has a persistent cough so that's marvelous! He has not got Covid according to the flow test thingy, but I have a feeling the £1,500 we spent on next week's holiday may be kissed goodbye. Marvelous.
How about that footy though? Maybe they can pull it off after all.

What’s the charity you’re getting him from? Small Dog rescue is the name of the charity. We met him at his foster home, mixes ok with other dogs (the fosterer has two). He's a bit skittish around men, so was wary of me but was happy with the missus. Quite timid, so it'll be a case of small steps. |

I feel a bit deflated by the football last night. An unfair penalty decision. I know there were other unfair decisions against England last night, and that there have been a few in previous tournaments' games, but even so ... it takes away from it. A part of me feels like England didn't win it justly, so in a way didn't really win it.

I think the pace of the modern of the game and the zero tolerance for pushing, shoving, knocking, tripping etc...has led to a situation where teams have to pick and time their challenges very well. England in particular have mastered the art of winning the free kick.

England in particular have mastered the art of winning the free kick. I think there's too much tolerance. Players get grappled, pulled, kicked, but the referees only ever do anything if the player being grappled, pulled or kicked falls over.
It's making me consider becoming a referee. Red cards all round. |
