Chumbles
Well it depends.
They read like they have been written for TV. Not an entirely dissimilar style to ASOFAI which is unsurprising as one of the writers was GRRM's assistant. All the chapters have a POV of one character If you can tolerate that style as an audiobook they will be fine. If you have limited tolerance for it then maybe not s much.
You can probably try one of them for free with audible. See if you like it.
I would recommend N K Jemison and Cixin Liu audiobooks if you haven't heard them. Both of them are pretty decent writers The Fifth Season & The Three Body Problem.

Hello. Noseplugs in. Doing chores. Games: Survival - I'm not sure if still being here counts as a win. TV: Finished second watch through of The Expanse; I can't wait for S6 FYI amazonadvisor.com The Expanse Season 6 release date According to Midgard Times, the show finished filming during the second week of May. This offers some hope that we could get the season by the end of 2021. We're looking at December being a potential release month, matching the release of Seasons 4 and 5 on Amazon Prime Video. 24 Jun 2021.

Morning all!
Hot. I am moribund. Given up on work for now.
Had some very odd dreams last night. One about a Lego model of a truck with an articulated F14 ride on the back of it that was very expensive, some Chinese PC RPG games, and deciding to build a gaming PC slowly piece by piece so it didn’t cost too much. If you only buy one bit of it a month it won’t cost more than £100. A month, most months. Some months. I don’t think I even want a gaming PC as I’d never get a chance to play on it.

The problem I have with building gaming PCs is that the thermal toothpaste always gives out and then after reapplying it I get paranoid that it’s going to cook itself if I actually play anything on it. The real game becomes watching your cpu and gpu temperatures like a hawk watches a rabbit.

Can you build a gaming PC for £500 still? Asking for a friend

Seems that with £500 you’d be sorted, so long as all you wanted was one fifth of a graphics card. Top banana.

A lot rests on the voice artists; The guy that does Naomi Norvik's Temeraire series - Simon Vance - is brilliant; as is Kathleen Gati whose reading of Katherine Arden's Winternight trilogy. Another Expanse novel to come Leviathan Falls is the ninth and final book[1] in The Expanse book series by James S. A. Corey, the pen name of Daniel Abraham and Ty Franck. It is set to be released on November 18, 2021.[2] The book was announced on September 16, 2020.[3] The book was turned into the publisher on May 17, 2021 {The release date is 16th November 2021} That's from: (I was looking at the RPG section) en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Expanse_(novel_series)#Roleplaying_game(Where the hell is my shopping 😡)

Can you build a gaming PC for £500 still? Asking for a friend If you can get one with an AMD Ryzen 5700g in it. They're generally available soon. Decent frame rates on modern games. Then add a "proper" graphics card at a later date.

Just panic bought the last crate of Rubicon (mango) from B&M Bargains. Also panic bought in there a multi pack of Heinz beans with mini sausages*, Wotsits, orange aeros, toothpaste and washing up liquid.
You've got to get up pretty early if you want to beat Tuffers to all the sweet panic loot.
*just ate one of the tins for lunch, with toast

Back door Study boasting. 4* What next a library? It’s not as grandiose as it sounds. 2 metres by 3 metres - not exactly Sheep2 library-sized.

A PS5 is only £359 for the digital edition. Way better value.
Of course you can't actually buy one, but that is a minor detail as you can't buy a decent PC either.

Most of my books are in storage in the garage. I can't fit the in to the flat. Well I could, but there would be adverse consequences. At best the spare room would be brim full. The books in the flat are bad enough.
