Watching random sports matches from Japan, taikwando seems to be a sport where you are violent and flexible. Just kick them in the head.

Hi! 9 hours on the UK motorway system yesterday, mostly sitting in queues. When we reached our destination, shops shut and all booze inaccessible in the depths of the car packing system. Brutal. Only 6 hours driving today though so things are looking up.

{Edit}It really looks fantastic - but I think I'd rather get the train from Glasgow or fly to Southampton/Bristol and hire a car. Of course I don't drive so will need to wait till Jeff/Tim/Elon etc sort the self driving-mobiles.

Just having a discussion before the PM clipped my hair.

I decided to stick with the 2 guard. She then mysteriously knocked the clippers onto the floor smashing the number 2 guard. Used the 3 just to spite her.

Tired from staying up watching Olympic games. Why can't those selfish Japanese hold the events to fit in with UK time. I blame Nintendo.
Also hungover. Good job it's not hot. Ohhhh....
Mr Tesco delivered me all the food which was nice of him. Just warming up a chicken and Mushroom slice.
Cutting the grass shortly.

Also got left over chicken curry for tonight. But there's not quite enough for 4, so I have a bag of new potatoes that need using up so going to attempt a Bombay potatoes side dish. All the Indian food.

I'm about to watch a boat that fell off a slipway get helped back up. There are large lifting machines and real men.
The boat is a 30 foot tug fitted with dredging equipment. One of the real men is called Dave. The large lifting thing has caterpillar tracks.

Half the town is watching*. Mostly, I would guess, partly in the hope it goes wrong.
It's the most exciting thing to happen round here since a well-known local goose turned out to be female after it had already attained celebrity under a male name.
*This is fewer people than might be assumed. Did I mention I live in a one-horse backwater?

I saw a video yesterday of some tight jeaned, protein shake drinking idiot* who got his stupid fast & furious style car stuck on Strathaven beach and needed towed.
His baws needed toed.
Would love to have seen it be taken by the waves.
*Going by his gait he probably "lifts" and yes, I'm just being horribly judgemental.
