Is 'Once Upon a Time in Hollywood' worth a watch? I fear it may be a load of old horse balls. It's pretty good, Tarintino really nails 60's Hollywood, but it's not entirely action packed. A solid 7/10. |

OTTM: They still haven't re-let 'Old Boy's flat', however, I've seen lots of utter bellends stop and point at it. They'll fit right in.

I'm back from my little trip to London and I'm pleased to report that I have now achieved settled score status with Ms Patel. It's a decidedly chilly 18°C here. You call this a summer? Ganes: A long-ish phone call with relatives late in the evening didn't leave proper time for gaming and drove me slightly up the wall at a time when I should have been relaxing before bed. I don't want to repeat the whole argument, suffice to say that no woman is an island. So I just played a bit of AC:NH where a woman has her own island. Then I jumped into a Twitter argument with a Covidiot nitwit because that's the right thing to do late at night when you can't sleep. Anyway, turns out that the person who was arguing with said nitwit and who I helped out is a Twitch streamer and has just started a blind LP of BotW! What are the chances? Next stream starts at 3pm today, looking forward to that. So some good has come out of that. Cans: I didn't get a chance to mention that I recently bought a new pair of cans. Long story short, one of my favourite YouTubers was getting worried about losing the YouTube algorithm game and not having enough views, so check out Rabbidluigi if you aren't familiar with his work. Like every other YouTuber with sponsorships he's been advertising Raycon earbuds (missed opportunity to call them Raycans), so I ordered a pair with his discount code and they arrived earlier this week all the way from Yankeeland. Would have liked the green ones but they were out of stock, settled for what they call "rose gold" because I'm a girl. Definitely better than the cheapo ones I was using before. Four stars. Lunch: Cheese sandwich with Branston pickle. |

crankcaller - one of the worst sporting accidents I have ever seen was at rounders when one of the cracking looking girls tried to hit the ball out of Laleham Park. Jeff Faulkner, who fancied her like crazy stood as close as he sensibly could in the infield ... She let go of the bat... It spun through the air so the impact momentum was multiplied by her arm speed and like a homing missile it banged straight into his eye socket. His eye was saved because the thick end hit, not the handle end. When we prised his hand away the 'white' of his eye was completely red and his socket was bloody from a myriad of burst blood vessels and what skin we could see was black... The worst will wait for when tenthenemy isn't looking 👀 However, I guess that such incidents are minor fare in a Scots child's upbringing, as the toughness gradient seems to run South = Wimps; Scots = Berserkers...

Amazing speed, I spent the morning feeling like I'd had the S*** kicked out of me by Mike Tyson, went to the Dentist who were appointment only and closing at 2 pm. so rang 111 and had a chat (the wait IS worth it) who then arranged for an Emo Dentist at 15:45 pm! went in - I might add here I have a fear/phobia of Dentists, but these staff and dentist get the Gold medal, polite and respectful, helpful and patient, everything you need from a Dentist. So from screaming crying like a big girls blouse (not really, mostly moans and groans - I'd make a great zombie),to rage to num num num num to this and no pain, happy happy happy.  |
