Wow! I hadn't realised that the film based on my autobiography was already out. Thank you, Chumbles!

It's windy out, damn it. Hal the heat in the house will disappear when Tesco Tom totters to the transit lock. At least it should be dry by then, although I curse the change to bagless delivery that's turned a 30 second transaction into a 4-5 minute or more one. My bin is still where my kindly neighbour left it. One it's empty it may well go wandering ...

Good morning hardcore gamers, sports buffs, and self lovers.
I am in the office today. First time in 19 months. Predictably, my laptop doesn't work. The only other people here today are the IT support lot, but they can't help unless I first call the IT support desk. Someone will then get back to me within 3 working days.
No games

The foxes round here love bin day, food bins and things containing nappies especially. Chilly out, road which had a new layer of tarmac dropped on the old surface had had another sweep and might be painted later. No games, rereading Foundation and earth.

Morning all! Happy Trafalgar Day to you!
Gamesblog: Fallout 4, and I’m on the trail of The Mechanist. Lots of robots with flamers.
TVblog: yesterday was my partner’s first proper day back in the office, and, as a result, she didn’t have the brain capacity for anything but multiple episodes of a Channel 4 cake decorating programme. Nor did I after watching four of them in a row… And then The Orville.
Amigablog: new Sweet Content in the works. Possibly my most boring*, yet very helpful episode to date.
*a high bar indeed.

Morning.
No mouse-related incidents or anything else of interest to report. Bins duly emptied.
That is all.

Hullo.
I've been idly reading some of Tenthen's posts in the other place. This is my favourite so far, "No offence to her but I'd say I've got better tits.".
This, in the midst of some heavy Nintendo E3 debate, is pure gold.

Gninrom
Gamez: RE4. On route to the extraction point, with the Presidents daughter in tow...unless I jump down from a moderately high ledge that is. Then she helplessly whines "Leon, Leon" and I have to press square to catch her. Very black and white era Tarzan and Jane. I suspect that might change as we progress. Also the first CHOPPER sent to pick us up was shot down, so HQ have kindly arranged a replacement. Next up a decision... to progress I need to open the left or right MASSIVE gate..
*mild spoilers on a 16yr old game*
I chose left first, which had hordes of enemies. Was going well until two crazies with chainsaws cornered me and lopped Leon's noggin off. Reload and try the right gate, another El Gigante. Took three attempts but duffed him up and quickly typewriter wankered it and saved.
*end spoilers*
OTTM, going on holiday to the coast on Saturday for a week. Both kids have another cold. So we will soon. It's not going to be shorts and t-shirt weather. Can't wait.

Mouse chat, poison down in house as little buggers have been seen around garden etc. Dead mouse removed from snap trap in garage. I don't think living next to a student house with a wild garden is helping, all food bits and cover are sorted so they shouldn't be happy this side of the fence.

Another downside of the office being full of IT support types is the whole place reeks of lynx deodorant and farts.

And something else I can't quite place. I'm familiar enough with the smell of social awkwardness to know it's not that. Do D&D players give off a smell? I'm going to assume that's what it is.

I managed a successful moonshot last night.
Pleasing.
That is I took a photo of the full moon just risen over the stand at the John Smith's Stadium. Not a brilliant photo, but I manged to get the moon and the roof of the stand in. It s only on my phone. I did not want to go full Amipal.
I did not get a photo of Birmingham scoring.

Games: ME3. Telly: BlackKlansman (I love it, 4 stars) and the Sopranos (s5, getting a bit soapy now, 4 stars). Ottm: it is sunny here today, or at least it was an hour ago when I briefly looked through the curtains before closing them again and slumping in the corner.

Wilding your garden to provide a mini ecosystem for weeds, odd creatures and insects is supposed to be cool. I'd be a little careful as they may think themselves ecowarriors and decide you're the kind of anachronistic, meat-eating, carnivore that deserves to be made an example of. You'll wake up one morning to find one of them superglued to the front of your car. You could drive into a wall, but there might be consequences - the insurance claim would be interesting. Worse still, they could simply superglue your car doors shut, or even worserer*, your petrol cap. * Got to give Destry summat to do.

Lots of wild areas in the garden available for all sorts of critters, it's the entry into enclosed spaces which isn't desired. Several vacant properties have been moved into recently and not sure if this with renovations has lead to the appearance of undesirables or the cold/free food they can get from the bird food was to blame. Wildlife chat, normal garden birds, kites, foxes, fox cub, a jay and a common woodpecker have been seen recently. The frog and mouse seen in garden were left alone and not licked when the went through to elsewhere.

Hello,
Unfortunately I had to go to Swindon for a training course yesterday. That was fun.
Games - Ass Creed Nordic Cruise. Good stuff. Climbed up Canterbury Cathedral, and some sort of Go Ape course in some caves underneath the cliffs of Dover. Not entirely sure how historically accurate that was, but it’s good fun. Might spend a bit of time doing side quests and treasure hunts before carrying on with the story.
