Morning, Hallowed weenies.
Puppies do not understand the concept of extra hour in bed, and so we are getting up a stupid O’Clock.

Kid 2 vomitted this morning. I also got a Guardian Pick for my superlative cricket knowledge.
Windy out.

Morning chumps, chumbles and chumpette.
No games last night. Cleaning the bathroom while the child was out Guising, putting away Halloween decorations, emptying the dishwasher etc etc.
One beer, some 'Only Murders in the Building' and one beer. Oh, that's two beers.
Working 'late' tonight at some event with youths. Coz of the lack of trains in the evening now I won't get back till nearly half 9. Balls.

Hullo.
Got car started. Moved to car down the road to the accompaniment of a loud clonking noise from the offside rear wheel. The frequency of this increases with speed. Suffice to say, I am well pissed off as it is potentially dangerous and also expensive. Undriveable.
In short,I don't know what to do. Scrap it?

Can the boy have it stolen and burnt out?
I'm not for a second suggesting offering him £50 to do this.

Car noise
Assuming the tyre isn't flat or the exhaust hanging off, if you haven't driven it much it is most likely that the brakes are stuck on or a wheel bearing has gone. Bearing tend not to go at the back though. It won't take a garage long to sort it if that is the case. Might need the disk trimming or a new disk. It's possible the shock absorber needs replacing.
Or you have a fox wrapped round the rear axle

Farcrying a bit and missions being done. Think I've overlevelled a bit. Keep hitting ubisoft type bugs where random encounters are getting caught in missions to annoy me.

Brakes are drum at the rear, therefore, not disc. Not stuck on, not wheel bearing either (they tend to groan), not shock, not exhaust. I do think it's brake related as there was a clonk when I pulled away (rear brakes stuck on due to sitting for a while) so they had to unstick themselves.
I would have a look myself but I don't have a hub-puller or anywhere to look at it without being run over.
Brakes work fine and were completely overhauled by Subaru 5k ago*
*Oh.

Sounds like CrankCaller is issuing one library card at a time to COP26 delegates and is doing a check on references before ding that.

Morning all,
Waterworld was a documentary? I'm living for the 25/8 coverage of COP26. Can't wait for the DVD set.
Filmblog. Watched 'Old'. Don't as it's largely harrowing grief porn. 4 stars.

Fuck off ParentMail!! You email me over the most pointless bullshit, oh really today's desert options changed due to "supplier issues" why would I have any fucking interest in that! My greedy son will scoff all desert regardless. Email me when you manage to get him to eat some fucking vegetables.
And the parents Whatsapp group can fuck off too! It's a deluge of smug mums attaching photos of their little shits dressed for Halloween. I couldn't care less, and why aren't these parents busy working?!? Fuckin' broken Britain!
Work is hectic too.

What Shenguin said.
This morning I'm waiting for the delivery of the Samus & E.M.M.I. amiibo. It's coming with DPD which means it's being delivered by my good friend Surjit who's always delivered. Like, literally.
Last night I didn't actually get time to play more Meteroids. I briefly considered it around midnight and decided to have sleep instead. I didn't have time before that because I did actually put out Halloween decorations and immediately got two groups of kids & accompanying adults. After that it started raining heavily, I was having dinner anyways, and because the clocks had changed the Sunday evening stream started an hour earlier than usual, so that was the end of T or T. So I have a lot of sweets left for myself. Unfortunately I also dropped one of my illuminated plastic pumpkins and broke it.
Sunday evening game stream was Resident Evil 3 Remake. Why does Jill find a grenade in the donut shop? How else do you think they make the holes?
I feel the need to explain why I'm sending Halloween cards to people. These are animated e-cards that are meant to amuse young family members. Also, there's a family member in Germany whose birthday is today, so it's easy to combine the two events when I feel obliged to send a card.
The grandkids didn't do trick or treat because their mother thought that too few people had decorations out and none of the immediate neighbours. At least the kids got a card from Granny.

So is it now no license, no car, no parking space? I've never had one of those. I've had a word with a chum, who suggests that it is probably an issue with the o/s/r brake shoes. I countered with, 'so...it couldn't be the U/J on the D/S?'. How we laughed.
It needs to go up on a ramp.
